Want to know how interviews work?
These are the most common questions that you will face during an
interview
Q:
Tell me about
you!
Do’s:
Keep it
simple, tell them all about you according to your CV. Have your
answer done within 1 to 2 minutes.
Don’ts:
Talk for too
long, rambling, and telling them anything that’s off topic.
Q: What do you
know about our company?
Do’s:
Do some
researches of the company before interview, especially for the job
you’re being hired for. The more knowledge you provide them about
their company, the more interest you’ll reveal to the interviewee.
Don’ts:
Not doing any
research, and make things up of what you know about the company.
They know their company very well. Therefore, if you don’t know
much, tell them about it. At least it shows them that you’re
trustful.
Q: Why do you
want to work for us?
Do’s:
Tell them
everything that you’re able to offer. Tell them that you’ll be able
to grant them achievements and your ability will contribute to the
company very much.
Don’ts:
Telling them
about what you want from working in the company. Showing them that
you expect something from the job than vice versa,
Q: What would
you do for us? What can you do for us that someone else can't?
Do’s:
Tell them your
past experiences about how you can solve problems and what you
offered that an existing employee couldn’t do.
Don’ts:
Telling them
that you’re just better without any proof.
Q:
Why should we hire you?
Do’s: Tell them how
much you’ll contribute to them, how much you’ll be able to give with
your skills, attributes, and experiences.
Don’ts:
Telling them
what you’ll get from them. They’d care less of what you’ll be
getting. They want what you have presently and use them towards
their company.
Q: What do you
look for in a job?
Do’s:
A chance to
provide your skills towards the company.
Don’ts:
Don’t tell them
you look for something that contribute to yourself such as
experiences, excitement, something new, good salary, recognized to
be the boss, supervisor, and so on.
Q: How long
would you stay with us?
Do’s: As long as
your skills are being contributed towards the company.
Don’ts:
Providing a
timeframe, and say anything about leaving the company.
