Miss Circus Circus U31 Turbine

A Bit of History

First built in 1984 as the 11th ATLAS VAN LINES (turbine) with an open cockpit, it then raced as the first MILLER AMERICAN in 1985 & 86 and was back-up boat in 1987, then became the MILLER HIGH LIFE for all but two races in 1988.
This is the hull that won the Gold Cup four years in a row.
Receiving the full canopy treatment in August 1988, it returned to San Diego as CIRCUS CIRCUS to participate in the infomous duel blow-over with the MADISION on Mission Bay. The hull was extensively modified by Circus Circus team in 1988 & 89. This hull was last seen racing as CIRCUS CIRCUS in 1990.
