Eastern coach Josh Leslie started the following lineup: 5-11 So. Mikayla Kinnard, 5-10 Sr. Natalie Collins, 5-11 So. Devin Beach, 5-6 Jr. Brea Mishler, and 5-8 So. Kiara Pearl.  Mercy Academy coach Keith Baisch countered with 5-9 Sr. Sadie Zeisloft, 5-9 So. Racquael Reese, 6-2 Jr. Danielle Feldkamp, 5-8 So. Regan Berger, and 5-9 Sr. Josie Woods.

 

Eastern outscored Mercy Academy 26-13 in the second quarter on their way to a 66-56 victory.  Eastern shot 42.3% from the field including eight of 16 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 23 Mercy Academy turnovers.  Mercy Academy shot 36.5% from the field including eight of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Jaguars connected on 10 of 18 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 19 Eastern turnovers.

 

Kiara Pearl led Eastern with 15 points including two three point baskets and seven rebounds.  Natalie Collins also scored 15 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  Mikayla Kinnard recorded 12 points and five rebounds.  Brea Mishler chipped in with 10 points.

 

Sadie Zeisloft led Mercy Academy with 18 points including four three point baskets.  Josie Woods added 10 points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  Danielle Feldkamp recorded seven points, 12 rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots, and two steals.  Regan Berger chipped in with seven points, six rebounds, and five assists.
