Berea College coach John Hemenway started the following lineup: 6-5 So. Gabe Hinton, 6-1 Sr. Richard Parker, 6-8 Sr. Dyonta Bizzle-Brown, 5-9 Sr. Anthony Myrks-Brewer, and 5-11 Fr. Terique Miller. Eastern Kentucky University coach Dan McHale countered with 6-7 Jr. Zach Charles, 6-4 Sr. Jaylen Babb-Harrison, 5-11 Fr. Asante Gist, and 6-0 Jr. Dillon Avare.
Eastern Kentucky University defeated Berea by a score of 92-64. Eastern Kentucky shot 46.6% from the field including nine of 30 from the three point line. The Colonels connected on 15 of 26 free throws, pulled down 53 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 19 Berea turnovers. Berea shot 32.1% from the field including nine of 34 from beyond the arc. The Mountaineers connected on 21 of 33 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 13 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.
Nick Mayo led Eastern Kentucky University with 19 points including eight of nine free throws, nine rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Zach Charles added 14 points and five rebounds. Dillon Avare recorded 11 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and two assists. 6-6 Fr. Marlon Adams added 11 points and 10 rebounds. 6-2 Fr. Parker Chitty also reached double figures with 10 points, four assists, and three steals. Jaylen Babb-Harrison added nine points, six rebounds, and four assists. 6-6 Fr. Deandre Dishman recorded eight points and eight rebounds.
Anthony Myrks-Brewer led Berea with 14 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and four steals. 6-3 Fr. Nick McCollum added 12 points including two three point baskets. Dyonta Bizzle-Brown recorded 10 points and six rebounds. Richard Parker chipped in with nine points including two three point baskets.
