Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford started the following lineup: 5-8 Jr. Anovia Byars, 5-6 Sr. Jazmine Richmond, 5-11 Jr. Nakeisha Green, 5-6 Jr. T’Laya Lyvers, and 5-6 Sr. Destiny Carter.  Mason County coach Piper Lindsey countered with 5-8 So. Whitney O’Mara, 5-8 So. Briana McNutt, 5-9 So. Maddie Boone, 5-3 So. Brianna Littleton, and 5-6 So. Jordan Frodge.

Henry Clay pulled away in the second half to defeat Mason County by a score of 54-31.  Henry Clay shot 43.25 from the field including three of seven from the three point line.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 13 of 18 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 17 Mason County turnovers.  Mason County shot 33.3% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Royals connected on three of seven free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored three points off 12 Henry Clay turnovers.

5-5 Sr. Kennedy Coney led Henry Clay with 13 points.  T’Laya Lyvers added nine points and Nakeisha Green chipped in with eight points and five rebounds.  5-10 Jr. Jordyn Jackson pulled down eight rebounds.

Whitney O’Mara led Mason County with nine points and five rebounds.  Jordan Frodge also scored nine points.  Brianna Littleton chipped in with five points.
