Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Dee Givens, 5-9 Jr. Aisha Conwell, 5-8 So. Kendyl Powell, 5-1 So. Lataya Winn, and 5-11 So. Kiara Pankins.  East Carter coach Hager Easterling countered with 5-9 Sr. Kaylee Limings, 5-8 So. Haley Hall, 5-11 Sr. Megan Stickler, 5-5 So. Kristen Mayo, and 5-5 Sr. Alexis Pennington.

Lafayette claimed the championship with a 59-46 victory over East Carter.  Lafayette shot 51.4% from the field including one of six from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on 20 of 22 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 16 East Carter turnovers.  East Carter shot 46.2% from the field including three of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Raiders connected on seven of eight free throws, pulled down 15 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 Lafayette turnovers.

Dee Givens led Lafayette with 20 points including nine of 11 free throws, five rebounds, and four assists.  Kiara Pankins added 18 points including eight of eight free throws, five rebounds, and four assists.  Kendyl Powell chipped in with nine points and four rebounds.

Megan Stickler led East Carter with 12 points and five rebounds.  Haley Hall also scored 12 points and pulled down four rebounds, and recorded four steals.  Kristen Mayo recorded eight points and three assists.
