Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Lucky Jackson, 5-10 Jr. Jaelin Jenkins, 6-6 Jr. Ross Jenkins, 5-10 So. Jajuante Carpenter, and 6-0 Jr. Harrison Lane.  Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 Sr. Tanner Johnson, 6-3 Sr. Reese Ryan, 6-5 Sr. Walker Boothe, 5-10 Sr. Michael Talbott, and 6-2 Sr. Jarod Griffin.

Lexington Catholic defeated Lafayette by a score of 54-46.  Lexington Catholic shot 43.2% from the field including five of 13 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 17 of 21 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 14 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 29.5% from the field including six of 22 from beyond the arc.  The generals connected on 14 of 17 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored eight points off 10 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Tanner Johnson led Lexington catholic with 19 points including three three point baskets.  Jarod Griffin and Michael Talbott each recorded 12 points. 

Jajuante Carpenter led Lafayette with 19 points including four three point baskets.  Harrison Lane added 12 points.  Ross Jenkins recorded 10 points, nine rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Lucky Jackson pulled down seven rebounds.  6-2 Jr. William Watkins also pulled down seven rebounds.
