Conner coach Aaron Stamm started the following lineup: 5-7 Jr. Brittany Vest, 5-5 Jr. Taylor Gambrel, 5-10 Jr. Shelby Frye, 5-4 Jr. Jenna Hicks, and 5-4 Sr. Kierra Dages.  Lexington Catholic coach Scott True countered with 5-8 Sr. Rachel Blake, 5-7 Jr. Caroline Osbourn, 5-9 Sr. Caroline Lynch, 5-5 Sr. Bailey Browning, and 5-9 Jr. Sarah Bonn.

Conner took advantage of a dismal (2 of 22) shooting performance from long range to take a 43-33 decision over Lexington Catholic.  Conner shot 32.7% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line.  The Lady Cougars connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 11 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 24.5% from the field including two of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored eight points off 10 Conner turnovers.

Taylor Gambrel led Conner with 12 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds.  5-10 So. Brianna Roberts added seven points and four rebounds.  Kierra Dages recorded six points and eight rebounds.  5-8 So. Calee Duncan pulled down 10 rebounds.

Caroline Lynch led Lexington catholic with 15 points and 14 rebounds.  Rachel Blake added six points, four rebounds, and three assists.
