Boyle County coach Greg Edwards started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Devin Conley, 5-7 Sr. Dee Foster, 5-10 Jr. Kalin Bottoms, 5-7 Fr. Emmie Harris, and 5-7 Sr. Lauren Richards. Lexington Christian Academy coach Nick Cann countered with 5-10 So. Abigail James, 5-8 Jr. Haley Strunk, 6-0 Sr. Holly Huellemeier, 5-3 So. Hannah Hartley, and 5-7 Sr. Katelin Bundy.
Lexington Christian Academy led 28-23 at halftime but Boyle County rallied in the second half to earn a 69-59 victory. Boyle County shot 35.95 from the field including 10 of 29 from the three point line. The Lady Rebels connected on 13 of 25 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 14 LCA turnovers. LCA shot 37.3% from the field including seven of 21 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles connected on eight of nine free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and did not score off six Boyle County turnovers.
Devin Conley led Boyle County with 25 points including six three point baskets, seven rebounds, and three steals. Emmie Harris added 11 points including two three point baskets. Dee Foster chipped in with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Lauren Richards recorded 10 points and seven points. Kalin Bottoms also reached double figures with 10 points.
Katelin Bundy led LCA with 24 points including three three point baskets. Holly Huellemeier added 15 points, 18 rebounds, and two blocked shots. Hayley Strunk chipped in with 10 points and five rebounds.
