Madison Southern coach Shane Buttry started the following lineup: 6-1 So. Stacy Burns, 6-1 Sr. Devante Linville, 6-2 Sr. Trevor Huff, 5-9 Fr. Michael Jefferson, and 6-0 So. Tanner Kidwell. West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-4 Jr. Brooks Ely, 6-3 Sr. Daulton Peters, 6-5 Jr. Dalton Crouse, 6-0 Sr. Will Henderson, and 6-2 So. Siah Holifield.
West Jessamine defeated Madison Southern by a score of 89-74. West Jessamine shot 54.4% from the field including nine of 16 from the three point line. The Colts connected on 18 of 25 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 14 points off nine Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 49.2% from the field including six of 15 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 14 West Jessamine turnovers.
Daulton Peters led West Jessamine with 23 points including four three point baskets and six rebounds. Will Henderson added 18 points, four rebounds, and eight assists. Siah Holifield chipped in with 10 points and seven rebounds. Dalton Crouse and Brooks Ely each recorded nine points and seven rebounds.
Trevor Huff led Madison Southern with 16 points and six rebounds. Stacy Burns also scored 16 points. 5-9 Fr. Caleb Miller chipped in with 12 points. Tanner Kidwell recorded nine points.
