Model coach Wes Scarberry started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Zach Rice-Gordon, 5-11 Sr. Brendan Hill, 6-4 Sr. Jon Ballard, 5-8 Sr. Anthony Gerald, and 5-10 Sr. A.J. Hammons.  Woodford County coach Scott Hundley countered with 6-5 Sr. Landen Young, 6-0 Sr. Jalin Raglin, 6-5 Sr. Chase Henderlight, 5-11 Jr. Chris Honabach, and 5-11 Jr. Eli Boggess.

Model hit their free throws down the stretch in a 65-63 victory over Woodford County.  Model shot 48.8% from the field including eight of 20 from the three point line.  The Patriots connected on 15 of 18 free throws, pulled down 15 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 12 Woodford County turnovers.  Woodford County shot 51% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Yellow Jackets connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored five points off four Model turnovers.

A.J. Hammons led Model with 22 points including five three point baskets.  Jon Ballard added 19 points and four rebounds.  Anthony Gerald also reached double figures with 12 points.

Eli Boggess led Woodford County with 18 points, four rebounds, and six assists.  Chris Honabach added 13 points including three three point baskets.  Chase Henderlight recorded 10 points and 12 rebounds.
