Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-4 Fr. Jordan Green, 6-0 Sr. Kendrick Prewitt, 6-6 Sr. Daniel Kiesling, 6-0 Sr. Brandon Nichols, and 5-8 Jr. Wes Kimball.  Bryan Station coach Michael Allen countered with 6-3 So. Larry Morton, 6-0 Jr. Marcus Williams, 6-2 Sr. Deon Renfro, 6-1 Sr. Loran Smith, and 5-10 Jr. Darius Wade.

Henry Clay led 26-25 at halftime and pulled away in the second half to defeat Bryan Station by a score of 65-52.  Henry Clay shot 55.3% from the field including two  of 10 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 14 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 37.3% from the field including five of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Defenders connected on nine of 18 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 14 Henry Clay turnovers.

Kendrick Prewitt led Henry Clay with 20 points.  Prewitt was eight of 11 from the field including one of one from the three point line, and three of four from the free throw line.  Wes Kimball added 17 points.  Daniel Kiesling chipped in with nine points and 14 rebounds.  Jordan Green recorded seven points and eight rebounds.

5-9 Sr. Otis Webb led Bryan Station with 17 points including four three point baskets.  Larry Morton, Marcus Williams, and Deon Renfro each scored 10 points.
