Anderson County coach Tony Kays started the following lineup: 5-11 Fr. Eriel McKee, 5-10 Fr. Mackenzie Cann, 6-1 Jr. Sydney Brown, 5-2 8th grader Corrin Robinson, and 5-5 Fr. Destiny Stewart. CAL coach Don Rice countered with 5-9 So. China Dow, 5-7 So. Kate Joss, 5-7 Sr. Paige Gardner, 5-6 Sr. Emily Walden, and 5-7 So. Chalisa Helm.
Anderson County raced out to a 19-4 first quarter lead on their way to a 58-47 victory over CAL. Anderson county shot 56.4% from the field including three of eight from the three point line. The Lady Bearcats connected on 11 of 22 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 CAL turnovers. CAL shot 31.3% from the field including four of 23 from beyond the arc. The Lady Centurions connected on three of 10 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored three points off 19 Anderson County turnovers.
Eriel McKee led Anderson County with 21 points and 13 rebounds. McKee was nine of 12 from the field and three of four free throws. Sydney Brown added 12 points and six rebounds. Destiny Stewart chipped in with 10 points. Mackenzie Cann recorded eight points, five rebounds, and seven assists.
China Dow led CAL with 19 points including three three point baskets and pulled down 11 rebounds. Chalisa Helm added seven points and four steals.
