Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Mackenzie Graham, 5-7 Jr. Emily Justice, 6-2 Sr. Shomari Kendrick, 5-4 Jr. Sarah Martin, and 5-3 Sr. Jariana Gillespie.  Dunbar coach Amy Tilley countered with 5-9 Jr. Morgan McEldowney, 5-4 Sr. Christin Haney, 5-10 So. Lakeena Parks, 5-2 So. Jordin Fender, and 5-2 So. Kierra Muhammad.

Lafayette defeated Dunbar tonight by a score of 48-31.  Lafayette shot 38.2% from the field including zero of six from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on six of six free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 18 Dunbar turnovers.  Dunbar shot 21.4% from the field including zero of eight from beyond the arc.  The Lady bulldogs connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored nine points off 14 Lafayette turnovers.

Shomari Kendrick led Lafayette with 20 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 blocked shots to give her an impressive triple-double for the game.  5-9 Jr. Taylor Mynear added eight points and Jariana Gillespie recorded six points, eight assists, and seven steals.

Lakeena Parks led Dunbar with 10 points and seven rebounds.  Kierra Muhammad added nine points.
