A project that we joined is an exchange of Christmas cards through the internet to schools from all over the world called Greetings from around the World. Everyone in our class made a card. We then voted on the one to add the the above project. You may view the Class Cards Year 2001
The Seventh Graders write each year about a
favorite Christmas and traditions that their
family keeps. I sent out a request for other
schools to do the same. There are the responses
that came back. If you would like to add your class memories to this, please email me.
Christmas Lesson Plans This lesson contains Christmas stories and

Students will work in groups to read stories,
listen to music, and explore the links.
Holiday Traditions During the month of December the Dunkerton (Iowa)second and third grade students
will be working in a collaborative effort to learn about the Christmas tradition of
their ancentrial background. They will be looking at the different customs in
relationship to how they celebrate Christmas today. The students are
responsible to do research for a country on the Internet through websites, email,
and newsgroups, library materials, and/or conduct interviews.

A World Wide Christmas Calendar Our class is going to make a calendar about Christmas traditions in different countries. We will make it on the World Wide Web so that kids all over the world can enjoy it. Each day during December, you will be able to connect to our WWW page and click on the calendar to 'open' a new day.
