Welcome to the Music Hall. I hope you will find all the
music here acceptable. Though I suppose there isn't much to comment
on, please feel free to suggest certain anime songs or video game piano
arrangements. If I don't have the skill to play what you've requested,
you might ask my brother "Dhsu" (for the last time, no, not Dan Hsu...)
to record it for you. Here's his
music page.. much much better than mine... you probably won't come
back to mine after you've been to his. ^_^; And if you think
my singing is all that bad, you can complain about it or offer suggestions
or techniques-

Neon Genesis Evangelion - Zankoku
na tenshi no teeze - Japanese vocals, no accompaniment (recorded around
6-1-2002)
Thesis of the Cruel Angel from Neon Genesis Evangelion. This
was done for a request by a friend of mine. It's my first Japanese
recording and it's also not that great... you'll notice I went breathless
and slightly offkey a few times, and I've always had problems with rhythm.
I really wasn't prepared for it, and you can probably tell because some
of the notes were forced, but it came out better than I had expected.
Final Fantasy VI - Forever Rachel
- piano, vocal accompaniment (recorded around 6-29-2002)
I don't care if you think the volume's low! I'm not going to
change it...I know the voice is hard to hear, and may not sound too great,
but like all of my recordings, it was an experiment. Hey, at least
the piano sounds decent!
It Is Well With My Soul - first, second, and
fourth verses (recorded 9-11-2002)
This was my dedication to the victims of the
9-11 tragedy. I wanted to encourage our United States of America
to stand strong in God's strength and say "It is well with my soul." (This
hymn's text was written in 1873 by Horatio G. Spafford; the music was written
in 1876 by Philip P. Bliss.)
Rurouni Kenshin - Freckles - English vocals,
no accompaniment (recorded 9-12-2002)
Okay, this time I was trying to keep with the soundtrack... as you
can hear, it didn't go too well. I couldn't hear my mistakes while
I was concentrating on the pace... consequently, I missed the first word
and blurred some of the others. Gomen nasai!! I will probably
try again sometime soon.
Final Fantasy VI - Forever Rachel
- piano solo (recorded around 9-13-2002)
No vocals this time, just plain piano. Still soft, but I think
it kind of adds a muted effect.. sort of sad.. grieving...
Okay, you got me. I was lazy again. ^^;
Vision of Escaflowne - No Need to Promise
- Japanese vocals, short bridge (recorded 9-19-2002)
Yay for better rhythm! I'm so proud of myself.. Still not perfect,
but it's good. Live with it! ^_~
I do apologize, however, for "hiccuping" some of the words.
Vision of Escaflowne - Aoi Hitomi
- Japanese vocals, no accompaniment (recorded 9-19-2002)
I detected a slight key change in the recording.. please forgive
me! It's hard to remember the key when there's no accompaniment.
^^;

(I couldn't think of any special font for this room's theme, so I'm sticking with normal, black and white, Times New Roman.) The underlining was an attempt to add a sort of "notation paper" look.
