From weakness (adversity) comes strength, we forgive to be forgiven, we give it away to keep it, we suffer to get well, we surrender to win, we die to live, from darkness comes light, from dependence we found independence

The smartest thing a person can say is Help Me

Hi and welcome to my site!

Recovering Together we can conquer anything!!!

I have made several great online friends in recovery. I started building these pages a year ago and through the help of some great people we were able to create two recovery chat rooms.

Acceptance

And acceptance is the answer to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing or situation - some fact about my life - unacceptable to me, and i can find no serenity until I accept the person, place, thing, or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment. Nothing absolutely nothing happens in God's world by mistake.

Until I could accept my alcoholism/addiction, I could not stay sober; unless I accept life completely on life's terms, I cannot be happy. I need to concentrate not so much on what needs to be changed in the world as on what needs to be changed in me and my attitudes.
