Sylvia Claire Bevan & Raymond Hides

To date three children, five grandchildren

As well as being a great Wife, Mother, and Grandma, Sylvia had a couple of hobby's, she loved writing poetry, Painting, and crochet, there would not be enough room on this site to put all of her poetry so I have added another page to the site just for Mum with some of her poetry and some of the pictures that she has painted which include some paint by numbers ones and some of her own freehand pictures, It seems that Mum's flair for poetry has rubbed off on the children as
Kevin, Yvonne, & Lisa, all write some very good poetry, so I'll have to get round them for one or two to put on Mum's page They can twist me round their little finger, so I'll have to see if I can do the same and cadge a couple of poems from them.

Picture shows Mum's Sister and three Brothers her sister being the youngest of the family, they are from left to right Eddie the youngest of the brothers,next is Carol, then Del the second oldest, then Mum, then on the right is Ron the eldest of the family. Unfortunately Mum (my wife) and her eldest brother Ron Have both passed away. There are more photo's and information about MUMon her own page, see link below.

Picture right shows myself and three brothers, taken at the funeral of Frank's Wife Margaret in 1988.:- they are from left to right in age order, first Ted(eddie) Then Myself Next is Frank then on the right is the eldestAlbert unfortunately my youngest and my eldest brothers have both passed away, leaving just Frank and Myself. Ted was a steward in a C.I.U.Working Mens Club in Lowestoft and Albert was a chartered Accountant and lived in Acton West London, and was a member of the Magic Circle, Both Frank and I are retired and taking it easy.
