More New Kids?
Don't rule out a reunion of New Kids on the Block. That's the word from velvet-voiced Jordan Knight, who's back with a solo CD called ''The Fix." The former NKOTB, who'll be at the FYE store in Danvers today, said there's a chance he and Donnie Wahlberg, Jon Knight, Danny Wood, and Joe McIntyre could still get back together. ''We'd need new material and all new steps," said Knight, who revealed that Donnie's the most interested in a reunion. Knight's new CD is produced by boy-band Svengali Lou Pearlman -- the brains behind Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync -- and the first single's on Billboard's Hot Adult Contemporary chart. Knight said Bobby Brown and New Edition were his idols, but they didn't get their due. ''Race does matter when it comes to this stuff," said Knight. ''They were a boy band, they were a black boy band. We were the Great White Hope, and this is a white country."

The horse's mouth is full of hay...or something, because I left a few messages in the last month or so and it aint going through cyberspace to you guys. So I just wanted to check in and wish you guys a very warm and glowing Holiday Season. From your e-mails, I know that some of you wont be able to be with all your family, but hopefully you can spend some time with good friends and share some yule tide love. I was back home in Boston for all of November and it was really nice. I was supposed to do a movie- a really good one- but it was postoned (kind of suddenly), so I used the time to just chill.
I mean really chill, which is really good for my line of work, I think...any line of work for that matter. I started cleaning house, literally and figuritively. And I started looking at old, old stuff from back in the day. And it was pretty wild. Really sweet letters from you guys. Early press clipping in the Boston papers, when no one had a clue who we were. Photo albums from all kinds of parties and tours. It was something else. I hadn't seen this stuff in many years and it was good to reflect. Enough time has passed that I could really appreciate it from a different perspective. At this point in my life I have nothing but warm thoughts about my time with the New Kids. Its always been a good feeling looking back, but as you can understand, after such a whirl wind, you instictively reject it for a while, no matter how much love you have for it. I am just happy that I am still friends with all the guys. I knew my time back home was going to be fulfilling, I just thought it was going to come from the journey of playing a great character in a great story. Instead I got it from a different place...just being home for a while. I hope you get that same feeling when you go home to your family this holiday season. And if you cant this year, find it in eachother, because we are all family. God bless and see you in '06. I promise it will be alot of fun. Thank you so much for everything! Singer-turned-actor DONNIE WAHLBERG is urging his former NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK bandmates to hurry if they plan to reunite for a tour - because he's given himself a four-year time limit.
The former heart-throbs released their last album more than a decade ago, and while many of their fans have been calling for the stars to get together again, Wahlberg is refusing to dance around onstage once he passes the age of 40.
He says, "I'm 36 now. I really don't imagine myself dancing around and singing onstage after the age of 40, so if (a reunion) was gonna happen it would have to happen soon.
"If we can get R KELLY to write us something like (TRAPPED IN THE CLOSET), I'd do it." Wahlberg, JONATHAN KNIGHT, JORDAN KNIGHT, JOEY McINTYRE and DANNY WOOD split in 1994 after the release of their fifth studio album FACE THE MUSIC.

Singer-turned-actor Wahlberg, older brother of MARK WAHLBERG, will chronicle his upbringing and music career in the series, which is expected to hit US screens next year (06). He says, "(The show will be about me) growing up in Boston in the '80s and being bused to a predominantly black neighbourhood from (age) seven 'til high school. "(Those years were) the greatest blessing that ever happened in my life. A lot of kids older than me heard what their parents were saying, and it was a problem for them to go to school in a black neighbourhood, but I was young, and I didn't care.
"I got to school and had fun with my friends, and most of them were black. So (the show) goes back to my roots and how being exposed to all those different ingredients shaped me."

jkstaff: JK will close on some more Cali dates for December (4-5) shows in a row. We have radio stops along the way to get support for the single. We will take the end of December off for the holidays and come back and hit ya hard in Feb 2006. The label will also release a full length album in Spring.
jkstaff: This is just talk at this point but it looks like his follow up single will be "Just My Imagination" a remake of the Temps classic featuring Jim Brickman on piano and Jeff Timmons / Bryan Abrams on backup vocals.
jkstaff: JK will attend this years Billboard Awards and Radio Music Awards in Las Vegas, NV in December.

Aside from Backstreet Boys' new album earlier this year and perhaps Madonna's that arrives next month, precious little of today's pop music does not apologize for itself on some level. That makes the new single from New Kids on the Block alumnus Jordan Knight a refreshing discovery for melody fans who have all but given up on U.S. labels. The song's ace production is by Aaron Accetta of boy band Bad Mood Mike, whose members also included Rich Cronin of LFO. The link here is Lou Pearlman's Trans Continental Records, which launched those groups, as well as 'N Sync, Backstreet Boys and O Town. Any fan of those acts will appreciate this lovely, piano-driven ballad. No rocket science here, but a noble effort to fuel Knight's third wind.

Jordan called yesterday to tell us how much fun he is having on the set of his new reality tv show. He will return to the states in time to play a concert in San Antonio, TX and then relax in Cabo San Lucas Mexico with some lucky fans.

Este film cuenta la historia de Jamie Ashen, un ho,bre que a puesto su dedo en el por que siente que tiene algo que ver con la asesinado de su esposa. Ashen sabe la verdad, su esposa recibio a un extraño ventrilocuista tonto, y fue eso lo que causo su muerte. Ashen rotorna a la escena del crimen la ciudad de Raven's Fair, y encuentra a Mary Shaw,u abusivo ventrilocuista quien supuestamente ataca la ciudad cortandole a sus victimas el cuello y robandole sus voces en venganza de su amor pasdo.

i know its been a little bit since my last post but i'm still alive and working. in the studio finishing up my album and getting it ready for all of you. i stayed away because things got crazy here for a bit but i think things are changing. i hope all of you realize i'm only human and can't control everything. rumors and gossip got out of control and i hope i can clear the air. hope your having a good 05 so far and lets stick together on this new album to make it huge. love u all
