- When does the band rehearse?
- Monday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30.
- How often does the band perform?
- Three concerts are held at the Mount each year. One in the fall, early December
(Christmas Concert), and one in the spring. All of these MCCB performances are held
on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 in the Mounts Theatre.
- Aproximately four additional off campus performances are held throughout the school
year.
- What are the audition requirements?
- There aren't any audition requirements. Anyone who has monday evenings free and
can play a wind instument or percussion is welcome to join.
- Do I need to be a student of the college to join?
- No, anyone can join at the cost of $20 per semester or $35 for the whole school year.
- Students of the college can elect to join this band as a class for college credit.
The regular per credit hour charge would apply in this case.
- What kind of music does the band play?
- The band's repertoire consists of Military marches, light classical, Broadway show
tunes, Big Band swing, patriotic, and seasonal music at Christmas.
