Sensei Sid Tadrist - Chief instructor I.S.H

Sensei Sid Tadrist grew-up in a family of martial art followed his father steps in Judo and did Aikido for a while and finished by doing karate. Sensei was very active in karate since a very young age.

Sensei Sid Tadrist began to practice karate seriously in 1982 under top instructors. With over 20 years in karate Sensei Sid has travelled to Japan, Europe and North Africa, training with masters such as Kase, Shirai, Kawazoe, Naito, Enoeda, Ohta, Isaka, Tabata,

Ozaka, Kasuya, Abe, Ukei, Isaka Akihito, Yahara among others. Sensei Sid has always has been very insistent in the correct form and taking the right approach. He is still travelling to Japan every year to further research in to the roots of Budo and the essence of the art we follow.

Sensei Sid first started to teach in North Africa in 1985 and in 1987 he was appointed as technical director. To pursue his career in karate he moved to England in 1988 to train with Sensei Enoeda and began to teach karate at the end of the same year at ISH.  
Over the years, Sensei Sid has developed a unique style of karate, bringing up the best of all the masters he has trained with. His style is very dynamic and this is reflected in the way he approaches his teaching.  While concentrating on the basis, his classes are aimed to develop the speed and power of students to the highest standards.

Sensei Sid Tadrist is still successfully active in competition at the national and international level.
