Dragonball is the beginning of Dragonball Z, Dragonball is about goku and his friends and they are searching for the Dragonballs. Goku lives in Earth, not this earth but different dimension Earth. For those of you who don't know what Dragonballs are, they are Magical spheres and if you collect all of them a magical dragon will appear, and grant you one wish. Well in Dragonball Z Goku and his friends are older, when Gokus brother Raditz arrives from outer space, and tells Goku he is a saiyan and steals his son Gohan. This is the Saiyan saga, Goku and his archrival Piccolo go out to save Gohan. Goku and Piccolo get beaten up by Raditz, when gohan goes mad and flies toward Raditz and hits him with his head. When goku remembers, when he was young his one weakness was his tail, so he grabs Raditz tail and Piccolo shots a energy blast through Goku and Raditz. Both die and Raditz says that 2 more saiyans are coming more powerful than him, that is how Dbz begins. There are many species in dragonball/z, even walking bears.
Humans are regular people like me and you, they are the ones that are always in trouple, so it's up to Goku and his friends to save them, but there are some strong humans like Krillen, Yamcha and Tien (Tien has a third eye but I would classify him as a human)And Uub is the most powerful human of all, he is the reincarnation of Buu. (Buu is the last villian in Dragonball Z thus the most powerful)
Nameks are green people, they live on a planet called Namek. Then it was destroyed when Goku fought Freeza, and the namekians came close to extinction, but the Dragon "Shenron" reborned them. Piccolo is a namek, and prob the most strongest one. Then all the nameks were wished to earth, before planet namek was blown up. Then the nameks lived on earth for a while, then they wished for the dragon to be transported to a planet that was just like planet namek, all the namekians left except Piccolo. The Saiyans are a warrior race, after each battle if they are recover from near death they become even stronger by a lot. They have tails, and when there is a full moon they turn to giant apes, and increase their power by ten times. The tail is the weakness, but if your experienced enough you kinda grow out of it, their home planet was destroyed by Freeza, because he feared them and how they will just keep getting stronger and soon they will become stronger then him. Only four saiyans survived and those four were Goku, Vegeta, Raditz and Nappa. Vegeta was the prince of all Saiyans, and managed to survive the blast, because Freeza wanted him alive. Goku survived because he was sent to earth to conquer it thus the beginning of dragonball, Saiyans were mercaneries, they worked for Freeza. They conquer planets for Freeza. Raditz was killed by Piccolo and Goku , Vegeta killed Nappa. Goku had a son called Gohan, he was a half saiyan because his mother is a human and his father is a saiyan. Vegeta had a son too, his name is Trunks and he was also a half saiyan. The saiyans are the main charecters in dragonball/z/gt.
