Real-life education

So you chose to go to college. Woohoo!

Despite all your doubts and the sacrifices your family had to make, we'll be biased here and say you've made the right choice.

Here we've featured some ways on how to choose the best school for yourself. Ultimately no advice from books, academic advisors, mentors, older YFCs, older siblings, younger siblings, parents or friends will matter unless you become certain of what you want for yourself.

When you talk to the YFC in campus-based, be sure to ask them where to get the FREE STUFF, especially FOOD -- there's always free food lying around, and not because your roommate forgot to eat his or her dinner!

If you are YFC, after recognizing the things you want for yourself -- are the dorms nice? do I want to dorm? should I bring flipflops? is it cold at that school? -- you MUST compare them with what God wants for yourself.

The school you put in second-choice might need a new YFC president to replace the graduating one. The other school might need to have YFC in it.

Be assured, however, that wherever you choose to attend college, God is with you. He'd rather you choose for yourself than be swayed by other people's opinions.

Hope this small guide will be useful. Good luck and Godspeed on your college search!

Financial aid information can be obtained from the finaid office of the school of your choice. Different schools offer different ways of paying for your tuition.
