So what can a lonely individual do on a day for couples? A lot actually. You can get a group of people who
share the same feeling you have and do something that's "not Valentine's Day" related. Treat it like any
other day, and try to avoid spots that have the "couple" vibe to avoid the hurt. Watch a comedy in the movie
theaters and avoid love, sappy movies. Rent one and make it a Blockbuster night if necessary.
Make a fashion statement! Don't wear red or pink! Wear something like blue, green, black, etc. Wearing red
or pink will just show others you're into the spirit of Valentine's Day, and they might even ask you where
your Valentine is. And what will you tell them?
But as for me, I'm not the one to avoid it. I like to take risks and exercise my heart with pain and suffering.
Crazy, huh? So what will I do on Valentine's Day? I'll tell you what. After I get out of class, I'm marching
myself towards the theater and watch "A Walk To Remember" for the second time, in hopes to find
someone there who's alone, too. Maybe share this lonely day with me, eh? If that works out, I'll take her to
the beach and have "a [long] walk to remember".
Hey, a guy can dream!
