Once a year
Yes, it only comes once a year, so I might as well enjoy it.
 Oh, for sure I will avoid the malls and movies and prolly just stay home. Or work on my Web site. Hadn't done that in a while. I think I will do that -- keeps me busy and reminds me of all my blessings and adventures since I last put stuff in there.
Oh, for sure I will wonder whether or not there's something wrong with me that I'm by myself this Valentine's. But I'll have none of that negativity spoil the privilege of seeing people recieve and enjoy God's greatest gifts to them.
Cynically, I could reason, "Enjoy it while it lasts," because all too often our happinesses are given when we least expect and cut short all too soon. So I give V-day celebrants a break because their day comes only once a year. Whereas I -- I celebrate my uniqueness and freedom 364 days a year. Woohoo!
