Amy Bilyeu has her LLM, and her last big vacation was to Victoria, BC, where she yelled at the Japanese tourists who were not staying on the paths. Since then, she has given up traveling until her blood pressure returns to normal and she is less likely to attack other tourists who do not abide by rules posted at their destinations.
Patti Chandler was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She enjoys fishing, camping, and family outings. She especially enjoys game night with the family. She recently visited Japan and looks forward to many more travels.
Ryan Davis is the editor of Memory Cue.
Angie Hughes’ favorite hobbies are snowboarding, learning to play the guitar, and wood carving. She lives in Kukizaki Town, Japan, with her husband. She is having a great time, but misses the beaches of Oregon, her family and friends, and sloppy Mexican food. Her dream is to run her own theatre, but she will settle for a black Scottie dog named Angus Madison Hughes. She thanks her family for having a sense of humor while being the inspiration for all of her writing.
Jas N Smith lives in Atlanta, GA, in what is known as Little Five Points. He spends many wonderful Southern afternoons on his porch, drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon and reading tattered paperback novels. He was born in Louisiana, but moved to Mississippi when he was 4. He has no greater wish than to be back in the Magnolia State, closer to his family. He graduated from Mississippi State University in May of 2000, after 7 glorious years of classes, majors, girls, and beer.
Colleen Slattery was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. After spending six years in California and two more in Boston, she has bravely returned home with Phil (her fiancé) and Karma (their crazy pug dog) in tow. Despite one hell of a year, she has decided (for now) to stick around. She will be attending business school in the fall, mostly in a desperate attempt to delay for two more years deciding once and for all what she wants to be when she grows up. Any marketable skills she may pick up in the meantime will be an added plus.
Grace Strahan-Piper grew up in rural Beaumont, Mississippi. She taught kindergarten for three years and is currently serving as the Reading Grant Coordinator for a rural Mississippi school. She has two cats, Guthrie and Sage, and enjoys her many plants and decorating. She hopes to publish a book one day about her experiences as a teacher.
