Kaci drops Kim off at her house and takes Kory back to the station, only to find out she has to go somewhere else.
“I hate to do this to you, but do you mind taking me back to my apartment?” Kory asks.
“Don’t you have a car?” asks Kaci.
“Not yet. I haven’t had the money to buy another one yet.”
“Oh. Well, where do you live?”
“Plantation, off Nob Hill.”
“Gas money?”
“I can.”
“Okay, I’ll do it this one time.”
Kaci heads towards Plantation from the station and drops Kory off at his apartment then heads home to Boca Raton with Angela.
“Do you like him?” asks Angela.
“He’s a nice kid.”
“I didn’t mean like that.”
“Oh! Um, yeah, I like him. I like him a lot better than I like Michael!”
“You guys should hook up!”
“He’s dating Staci, dork!”
“Are you serious? It didn’t seem like that tonight though!” Angela says in shock.
“Yes I’m serious!”
“Holy crap! I would have never pictured that!”
“Why you say that? Besides I have someone else in mind, starting tonight,” Kaci says with a devilish grin on her face.
“Who, Miguel?”
“No, me and Miguel like each other, but I like someone else more than I like Miguel, and I know I can be with Jose!”
“Jose?!”
“Yeah! Why do you have a problem with Jose?”
“Oh no, I don’t have a problem with Jose.”
“Okay, because I know you just got here today and I want to hang out with you, but I’m sure Justin does too, so I invited Jose over tonight.”
“Oh no, that’s totally cool since Justin was practically begging to hang out with me earlier when we were on the phone at Radius!”
“Well, I’m sure he found your stuff and moved it into his room already!”
“He is such a crazy ass, I swear Jess!”
The girls arrive at Kaci’s house and she calls Jose before going inside.
“¡Hey Chino!” (Hey Chino!)
“¡Hey! ¿Usted casero?” (Hey! You home?)
“Sí, usted puede ahora venir encima.” (Yeah, you can come over now.)
“Autorización, ahora me iré y estar allí adentro como quince, ¿está esa autorización con usted?” (Okay, I’ll leave now and be there in like fifteen, is that okay with you?)
“Si ése es cuánto tiempo le toma, ése está muy bien.” (If that’s how long it takes you, that’s fine.)
“Le llamaré cuando consigo allí.” (I’ll call you when I get there.)
“Autorización, pronto entonces le veré. ¡No haga cualquier cosa estúpido en su manera aquí!” (Okay, I’ll see you soon then. Don’t do anything stupid on your way here!)
Kaci hangs up with Jose and goes inside the house.
“I’m home,” Kaci yells so Justin knows she is home and comes down from his room.
Justin comes downstairs to the living room to hang out with his sister and Angela.
“God Angela, how long has it been?” Justin says walking over to Angela and giving her a hug.
“Hey Justin!” Angela says returning Justin’s bear hug.
Kaci’s cell rings, so she answers it as she’s walking out the front door.
“Hello?”
“Jess?”
“Yeah, who’s this?”
“It’s Gonzo.”
“Oh hey, what’s up?”
“I thought you told the bouncer we could bring whoever we want into VIP?!”
“I did Gonzo!”
“Well, that’s not happening!”
“What are you talking about?”
“We found some of the others and the bouncer is giving us a hard time about letting them in.”
“Go give your phone to the bouncer, I’ll handle this.”
Gonzo goes back inside the club and hands the phone to the bouncer.
“Josh, I thought I told you that Alex, Derrek and Juan could bring people into their VIP room I gave them? If you want to keep your job, I suggest you let them invite people in or I will go to Michelle tomorrow first thing!” Kaci tells Josh, annoyed that he is giving people a hard time.
“Okay,” he says handing the phone back to Gonzo.
“What did you say to him?” Gonzo asks.
“Don’t worry about it. If he gives you any more problems, let me know tomorrow. I’m going to bed now.”
“Oh, okay. But I should be able to bring in whoever now?”
“Yes Gonzo, but you’ll get kicked out in like an hour since they close at 4am!”
“Oh, well, back to VIP. Thanks Jess! Goodnight!” Gonzo says then hangs up.
Kaci walks back inside and starts to go upstairs to her room.
“Where you going Jess?” asks Justin.
“I’m tired, I’m going to sleep!”
“Oh okay.”
Kaci goes upstairs to her room and turns on her computer and signs online. First instant message she gets is from the last person she wants to talk to.

YoShowY100: You’re home early!
KaciJRoman: yeah
YoShowY100: Are you okay?
KaciJRoman: yeah
YoShowY100: What’s with the one word answers?
KaciJRoman: tired
YoShowY100: oh. Well, go to sleep and I’ll see you tomorrow.
KaciJRoman: Maybe
YoShowY100: Goodnight baby!
KaciJRoman signed off at 3:02:47am.
Kaci’s phone rings and it’s Jose.
“Hey!”
“I’m here.”
“Okay, I’ll be down in a second,” Kaci says hanging up the phone.
Kaci goes downstairs, keys in hand, to get Jose.
“Where you going?” asks Justin.
“I thought you guys would be upstairs by now!”
“Where you going?”
“Chill Justin, I’m getting something out of my car! Shouldn’t you be getting to sleep since you want to work on the album tomorrow?”
“You know what, you’re right,” Justin says getting up from the couch, grabbing Angela’s hand.
“Goodnight Justin! Goodnight Angela!”
Justin and Angela go upstairs to his room, and Kaci sneaks Jose into the house.
“Where did you park your car?”
“In the street in front of your house.”
“Is it more towards the neighbors?”
“Yeah. Don’t worry, I didn’t forget!”
“Good!” Kaci says taking Jose’s hand and going inside.
“You want anything to eat or drink?”
“No, I’m fine for now.”
Kaci and Jose go upstairs to her room, and Jose sees her IM with Michael.
“What was that about?”
“He IMed me and I didn’t want to talk to him.”
“I can tell! You are never one worded!”
“I know, that’s why I’m thinking he might just show up here tonight!”
“He would do that?”
“Absolutely! He’s done it before and Justin woke up and answered the door!”
“That must’ve been something to pay to see!”
“I’m not sure! I heard about it though!”
“So what if he does show up tonight?”
“Then he shows up. I’m not worried about it, and you definitely shouldn’t be worrying about it!” Kaci says leaning in to kiss Jose.
Kaci pulls away from the kiss, gets up and goes to lock her bedroom door, but then opens it.
“Are you sure you don’t want anything to eat or drink?”
“What do you got?”
“I don’t know!”
“Well, if you don’t know, then how am I supposed to know what I want?”
“Ugh Jose! I’ll be right back.”
Kaci shuts her door and goes downstairs into the kitchen and finds Angela in the kitchen making some Kool-Aid.
“Girl, Justin can make his own damn Kool-Aid!”
“Hey! I thought you had a guest?”
“I do, but I’m thirsty.”
“Here try this,” Angela says handing Kaci the Kool-Aid.
“Nah, only Justin drinks that shit!”
“So what you having then?”
Kaci walks over to the liquor cabinet and takes out the rum and then walks back to the fridge and takes out a coke.
“This,” Kaci says putting the rum and coke on the kitchen counter.
“And how many of those did you have already tonight?”
“I don’t know!”
“So what about Jose?”
“Corona!”
“Does he know you guys are having Corona’s and rum and cokes?”
“Um, no!”
“Well, what if he doesn’t want the Corona?”
“Simple,” Kaci says picking up the phone in the kitchen and calling Jose’s cell phone.
“You’re a dork, you know that!” Jose says answering his phone.
“I know. Corona okay with you?”
“Fine with me.”
“Okay,” Kaci says hanging up the phone.
Kaci pours herself her rum and coke then puts the “evidence” away and brings her drink and Jose’s Corona upstairs.
“Goodnight Angela!” Kaci says walking up the stairs.
Kaci kicks her door once, hoping Justin didn’t hear it and that Jose would realize he needs to open the door. Jose opens Kaci’s bedroom door and takes his Corona so she can come in her room and shut the door and lock it.
“So, why am I a dork?” Kaci asks taking a drink of her rum and coke.
“Whatever you got me would’ve been fine and you know that! You didn’t have to call and ask me from the kitchen!”
“That was Angela’s idea!”
“Angela? Wait, somebody knows I’m here?”
“Yes Angela knows you’re here. But she won’t tell Justin.”
“Oh, okay. I still don’t get why Justin is the one everyone needs to get along with. Shouldn’t it be your parents that should be like that?”
“My parents are, but Justin is who I live with in the summer, whether it is here by ourselves since my parents go back to Chicago then or because I’m on the road touring with Justin. So of course he is going to be overprotective of me.”
“So does Justin approve of me?”
“I know he likes that we’re friends and our friendship has nothing to do with him being famous. That much I do know.”
“So I guess that is a good thing, and I can get on his good side so he will approve of us getting back together tonight, even though you haven’t dumped Michael yet.”
“I’m sure he will be glad to hear about me and Mike breaking up,” Kaci says finishing her rum and coke.
Kaci puts her glass on the computer desk and creates an away message then signs online. Immediately she puts her away message, but Michael IMs her just after she puts it on.

Not even two minutes later, Kaci’s cell phone rings. Kaci picks up her phone, looks at the caller ID and hands it to Jose.
“Answer it,” Kaci tells Jose.
“Who is it?”
“Michael. Answer it and only talk in Spanish. And I’m not here.”
“¿Hola?” Jose says answering Kaci’s cell phone, putting it on speaker phone. (Hello?)
“Who the fuck is this?” asks Michael.
“Es Jose, ¿que es éste?” (It’s Jose, who’s this?)
“Answer me in English you fuck! Where’s my girl?”
“¿Quién usted que busca?” (Who you looking for?)
“My girl dumbass!” Michael says getting very hostile and rude.
“¿Quién usted que busca?” (Who you looking for?)
“Jessica,” Michael says pissed off.
“¿Quién?” (Who?)
“If you don’t let me talk to Jessica right now, I’m coming over there right now and it won’t be fun for you!”
Kaci takes the phone from Jose, takes it off speaker and talks to Michael.
“If you even think about coming over here, you will be the one who will be sorry Michael!”
“What the fuck is that supposed to mean Jessica?”
“That’s it Michael. I’m done with you!”
“What the fuck are you saying Jess?”
“I’m saying we’re done, over with, not together any more or ever again! And since when do you call me Jessica?”
“So what, we’re just done and over with just like that?”
“Michael, we’ve been done and over with for a while now! Just get over it! And don’t you dare go to Chris and try and get me fired because if I find out you do, you will be the one who loses your job, not me!”
“Can’t we try and work things out? I love you Jessica!”
“You don’t love me! You love my last name and the perks that come with it and being Justin’s sister. And I said we’re done and I mean it Michael. Goodnight and don’t call me!” Kaci says hanging up the phone.
Kaci turns her phone off and puts it on the charger on her desk.
“Well, it’s official,” Kaci says getting into bed.
“So are we official now?” asks Jose.
“Yes, but officially we’re not official until Monday, okay?”
“Why Monday?”
“I know he is going to try and pull something, and it’s probably going to be at work. Then he’ll probably show up here between now and then and I don’t want you involved in anything with him, so if that does happen and he shows up here, I’ll just get a restraining order against him or have him arrested.”
“So what if he does show up here?”
“Justin’s here and he’d have to get past him and my dad before getting to me. If he knew you were here in my room, he’d be here right now!”
“I just don’t want anything to happen to you in his jealous rage,” Jose says putting his arms around Kaci.
“Don’t worry about me! I work with Chris tomorrow and I’ll discuss the situation with him.”
“So are you going to try and get him fired?”
“You know me so well! Nobody there likes him, nobody will miss him, it’s all but obvious after I tell Chris what he’s done that the possibility of him getting fired is all but done.”
“Oh, okay. So what time do you need to be to work tomorrow?”
“Between ten and eleven, show starts at two.”
“Oh, well, do you think Chris would let you being me?”
“For what?”
“To see what you do now!”
“I know Angela wants to come tomorrow too, so I guess you can, if you pick her up from here.”
“Not a problem, but how do I get there and where do I park?”
“Do you have a sunpass?”
“No, why?”
“I’ll get you mine out of the Beamer since I’m taking Justin’s Trailblazer tomorrow, and you just take the turnpike to exit 47 which is University Drive/NW 27 Avenue and just take the ramp, pay the toll and once you get to the light at the end of the ramp, you go straight and it’s all the way in the back at the end of the road. You’ll see the entrance with the Clear Channel sign, and just park in the employee part, if there’s a space next to the Trailblazer you should park there. But don’t come until 2:30 at the earliest, that way we can get settled in on the show!”
“Okay, write all that down and give it to Angela!” Jose says getting out of Kaci’s bed.
“Where you going?” Kaci asks Jose, confused.
“Go to sleep and I’ll see you at the station tomorrow,” Jose says.
Kaci puts out her hand and Jose takes her hand and she pulls him back in the bed.
“You don’t have to leave! The bed is big enough for you to sleep in it too!”
“You sure you want me to stay?”
“I’m positive! And after Monday, you can spend the night whenever you want to.”
“Well, if you really want me to, then I guess I can stay tonight.”
“Can you give me a second, I need to go talk to Justin real quick,” Kaci says getting out of bed.
“Sure,” Jose says giving Kaci a quick kiss.
