The company designed, built and operates the Kingdom's Master Gas System (MGS), the backbone of the Kingdom's industrial development program.  The MGS has the capacity to process nearly 130 million cubic meters (4.5 billion cubic feet) per day of raw natural gas.  It collects gas produced in association with crude oil from onshore and offshore fields, and deep, non-associated gas from fields in the company's southern area.  MGS components include nearly 40 gas-oil separator plants, three gas processing plants, NGL fractionation facilities at Yanbu on the Red Sea and at Ju'aymah on the Gulf, and the East-West NGL Pipeline.  The 1,170-kilometer (726-mile) pipeline, which has a maximum diameter of 76 centimeters (30 inches), begins at Shedgum and runs parallel with the East-West Crude Oil Pipeline system to Yanbu.
