This game requires the purchase of any one of P.F. Magic's Petz Programs (Dogz or Catz; 1, 2, 3, or 4). This program is just the raising of petz. In versions 3 and later you can breed different breeds to make new mixes! Check out people's sites to see hex-edited petz (petz with weird coloring). Or dress your petz up for a Sunday stroll. Versions 4 and later have petz that can be controlled through voice!
(This tutorial is for versions 3 and later).
Beginning
Adopt a pet or two (usually a male and female you would like to mate). Be sure not to adopt too many, because if you do, these petz can run away. Each day you open the program without playing with a certain pet, that animal comes closer to running away and there is no way you can get him/her back (except by copying its file before it runs away).
Shows
Be sure to visit web pages which hold petz shows in which your animalz can become champions! Unlike the real world, mixed breeds place higher in shows. A show pose looks like this:
