A-ShowA wrestling event where the big stars wrestle like TNT and Twilight.
A-TeamA group of wrestlers on an A-Show.
AngleA storyline, meant to give a reasoning behind a feud leading to a match. Some e-feds use angles as a way of deciding if an e-wrestler should be higher on the card or not.
AppShort for application. A form used by an e-fed president to obtain more members. Potential e-wrestlers fill out the form, which is processed and sent to the president.
B-ShowA wrestling event where the mid carders and Jobbers wrestle in the main event.B TeamA group of wrestlers on a B-Show.
BabyfaceThe godd guy or the fan favorite.
Board FedA fed (usually booked) where RPs are posted on a RP Board.
BookerThe person in charge of a card. This person will read all the RPs, judge whom he/she feels has done a better job of RPing, and either sim the matches or have the card written accordingly.
BookedAn e-fed where RPs determines who wins. Whoever the booker decides has done a better job of RPing will be written in to win the match.
BuryTo lower somebody by saying bad things about them.
Call A MatchTo do play by play and commentary in the match like Mike Carter etc.
CardA collection of matches set to happen on a specific day. Most feds have either 1, 2, or 3 cards a week, as well as one "pay per view" card. The more prominant a wrestler is, the higher they will be on that card.
Cut A PromoTo do an interview or come out and start talking like Di Caprio or Corvin does.
E-FedElectronic Federation. The term used to describe a group, organization, or web site where people can pretend to be wrestlers via the Internet.
E-Fed DiceUsed in Live Feds. Much like Dungeons & Dragons, the dice are used to figure out whose move hits first. Normally it is whoever gets the highest number out of the roll, some use odds and evens.
E-WrestlerTerm used for the wrestler a person potrays in an e-fed.
E-WrestlingAlso known as fantasy wrestling, e-wrestling is the art or act of pretending to be a wrestler via the Internet.
Executive BoardOftentimes called a cabinet or other such synonyms, the Executive Board is the President and all the helpers he has in running an e-fed.
FaceA "good guy". E-wrestling has a severe shortage of faces.
FinisherThe finishing move i.e. the Heart Attack or Hot Nix.
FuedUsed in conjunction with an angle, a feud is the fight between two wrestlers (usually once face, one heel) that leads to a deciding match between the two.
Foreign ObjectAn illigal object in the match like a chair or brass knuckles.
GimmickAn e-wrestler's attitude or personality. A good gimmick could be the make or break point between being the main event or not.
GoldA championship belt.
HandlerThe person who controls a certain wrestler or character in an e-fed.
Hand WrittenWhen a card or certain matches of the card are written by writers and/or the booker. This gives a match a more realistic feel, as the match sounds more fluid.
HeatWhen fans boo a wrestler, or a wrestler is in trouble with officials bakstage.
HeelA "bad guy." E-feds tend to be flooded with heels.
HouseNumber of fans in the arena or building
JabroniSlang for the word Jobber.
JobA planned loss.
JobberA wrestler who loses in order to make another wrestler look good.
KeyfabeWhen a wrestler acts out of character. Ex. If a heel is seen signing autographs and being nice to his fans.
Live ArenaThe room where the card takes place. (usually marked as (fedname) Arena.)
Live Hits MethodThis method of live e-fed wrestling is rarely used and is basically a typing contest. Whoever types *hits* first hits the move. Not too exciting and sometimes irritating for the referee.
Live Fed(can be pre-booked) An E-wrestling federation that is done inside a chatroom, live. Dice are usually used with these feds unless otherwise stated. Not many of these exist to date.
Main EventThe very last match of the card, usually between the most prominant e-wrestlers.
Main EventerA wresler that is in contention for the world title, usually wrestles in the main event.
MarkA fan who believes everything in wrestling is real.
Mark OutTo be very excited when something happens in wrestling.
Mid CarderA wrestler that is not main event calibur, but better than a jobber.
NeutralA wrestler that is not heel nor face. Not many e-wrestlers are neutral.
Non-Booked FedAn e-fed where angles, luck, or some other means determine who wins a match and who doesn't. In these types of e-feds, RPing doesn't neccessarily make a difference.
No ShowWhen a wrestler doesn't show up fo a scheduled appearance.
Out Of CharacterOOC for short. Means a comment made directly by the handler. Not intended to be viewed as a RP or message from the e-wrestler, but rather the person behind that e-wrestler.
OverTo be popular with the fans, other wrestlers, and staff.
Play by E-MailA fed (usually booked) where RPs are sent out via e-mail to the RP List or mailing list. Handlers can RP against one another by writing back to the RP list with their RPs.
