Chapter 11
Jeff and Chloe had been talking for an hour already and their topic of
conversation hadn't changed since they left the room. They noticed that Matt
and Amy stopped following them after fifteen minutes but they didn't care if
they were following or not. Jeff had to tell Chloe what was going on and
what was wrong. Leah and Jeff's relationship had been going down hill and
Chloe was the only one willing to listen and attempt to help.
"Have you talked to her?" Chloe asked sadly.
"I can't. Not after what she said to me. I feel like I will hurt her or
something and I don't want to do that." Jeff said as he and Chloe walked to
the ring for Jeff's match.
"She is under a lot of pressure Jeff. Maybe it is just that coming
through."
She said stopping as he lined up. "You know what shit she has been under.
Maybe she just said that because she needed to release anger and stress."
"She told me she doesn't know if she even likes me, never mind love
me."
"People say things they don't mean. You should know that."
"Only because of you. But anyway Chlo, I don't know what to do. If she
dumps
me then I will be even worse than this." He said sitting down on the seat.
"Jeff, I just think you need to talk to her. Leah was always one to
compromise. She also liked talks because that way, things can be said that
aren't usually showed. She just needs to understand."
"But she yells at me whenever I say we need to talk. She swears she listens
but not to me if I say she needs to justify her actions. I know," Jeff said
springing to idea "you can talk to her."
"Oh that will go down well!" Chloe said sarcastically. "All she
needs is for
me to go up to her and talk about you two and your problems. I am sure she
will just tell me what is wrong with her, especially after she remembers how
great of friends we are right now."
"Come on Chlo. I have to wrestle."
"You don't wrestle all night!"
"No but I will get hurt and I will need my back checked up."
"I'll tell her to go see you then." She said walking away.
"Come on Chlo. You know you want too talk to her." Jeff yelled after
Chloe
but she just stuck the finger up at him.
"You two close now?" Andrew asked. "I thought you two hated each
other."
"We do."
"It doesn't seem it. It seems you like each other."
"We do not. And anyway, your girlfriend started all this! Desiree isn't
even
here but the problem she made still is. Life isn't easy with her little talk
to me. And Chloe and I don't like each other. She is the only one that knows
what to do about me and Leah. She is the last chance I've got."
---
Christian looked at Steph as she put her shoes on. She had finally let him
in her room again but she had not told him that she declared her love for
him. Like she had told Chloe, she doesn't think she can say it again. It
took a lot for Steph to just admit it, especially after how she acted but
still, she couldn't live her life without him. There was really no other
alternative for her to take.
"What are you looking at?"
"Your shoes. What happened to the ones I got you?" He asked.
"Uh. the heel feel off them." She lied knowing he broke them.
"They fell off? For that amount of money? God!" He said angrily.
"Want some
more?"
"Don't worry Chris, I have heaps."
"But you always say."
"I know what I say. Chris, leave it." Steph said feeling guilty that
in a
rage of anger she broke the shoes. "Shouldn't you be working?"
"No." He said stretching.
"Are you saying we pay you for sitting around?"
"No, I work. I work at night when I write well." He said and Steph
snorted.
"What? You don't think I write well?"
"I never said that." Steph said smiling.
"What then?"
"If you listened to me when I told you, you would know."
"Steph don't do this again. It isn't my fault no one can understand
you."
"IT IS SO!" She screamed standing up.
"WHY IS IT ALWAYS MY FAULT STEPH?!" Christian asked standing up and
stepping
closer to Steph so that their bodies were almost pressed up against each
other's.
"Get out!" Steph barked. "Now!"
Christian got out of the room and looked back at the door with anger in his
eyes as she slammed the door.
"Not going well I see." Saga said walking past.
"You are always just there aren't you?" Christian asked annoyed.
Saga lifted her eyebrows. "I am going to see Amy. I am going to do her make
up. You just happened to get kicked out of Stephanie's room again." Saga
said, her speed not changing as she walked but Christian's exhilarated, as
he wanted to catch up to her.
Christian walked long side Saga as she headed to talk to Amy's room. As they
walked into the room, they both were shocked and stopped in their soft
footsteps. Christian looked at Saga and only saw she was as confused as he
was. Christian looked around for Amy, but his attention was drawn back to
the same thing that had shocked him before hand. He couldn't keep his eyes
off them. What were they doing been seen together anyway?
Saga was completely shocked to see them sitting there, as the other seemed
to be fixing wounds. "Chloe?" She asked and Chloe looked at them and
smiled.
"You don't know what is going on, right?" She asked, still smiling and
seeming to care for the person she had her hands on. One hand was at his
bare waist to stop him jolting at any pain and the other was caring for his
soft yet hard looking face. She smiled, as she looked him in his soft,
caring eyes as he watched her. She knew this was going to look bad, but it
was completely innocent, she was needed.
"No. Why does he have his top off?"
"He is covered in cuts." Chloe said tipping some more antiseptics on a
damp
cloth then rubbing it over parts of his chest. As he jolted in pain from the
stinging sensation that the antiseptic gave, Chloe's hand tightened and he
smiled a sore smile.
"I'm sure it bloody well is! How did they get there?" Saga asked
demanding
an explanation and knew Christian was still shocked to even speak.
"Don't know. How did they get there?" She asked quietly and he just
smiled
again.
"The bar bell feel on me." He said laughing at his pain.
The other three in the room turned and scrunched up their faces as he said
those words.
"Ouch!" Chloe said attending to his wounds once again.
"You do know that you are lucky it was us two walking in and not
Leah."
"Leah will have to get over it." Jeff said sadly. "Chloe is just
helping me.
I can't see the cuts right near my neck and when I look down they sting."
"Sorry, that is the antiseptics." Chloe said smiling.
"Yeah, but it doesn't look to innocent." Christian added.
"What am I meant to do? Let her care for my cuts when I have a top
on?" Jeff
huffed. "Leah will understand. She knows what it is like getting
hurt."
Saga sighed and went looking for Amy. Once she left the room, Christian sat
down looking at the two. Whenever Chloe looked up to see what Jeff was
looking at; they both smiled as their eyes couldn't take their view off each
other's eyes. Jeff had the every colour splashed into them eyes and Chloe;
hers were every shade of green mixed with every shade of blue. They both had
extraordinary eyes but this, this seemed more.
Chloe looked up again and smiled once again then followed his line of view.
"Jeffrey Nero Hardy! I hope you weren't looking below my head." She
said
pulling her top up more to minimise the cleavage.
"Nah, I wasn't." He said going a light shade of pink.
Chloe laughed slightly. She grabbed the bottle of antiseptic when Jeff put
his thumb and fore finger on either side of her chin, directing her focus
back towards his mysterious eyes. She looked at him confused, then
apprehension took over all emotions, thinking she had hurt the man more than
intended; but after his gaze shifted to her lips, she was over come by
desire. She felt like she needed his soft passionate lips against her own.
She felt like she needed to express her built up feelings for him in just
one sweet kiss. One kiss that she was sure Leah wouldn't walk in on. Chloe
turned her head then looked back at him to see him smile his eyes still on
her delicate face. Jeff slowly inched closer to her then stopped, realising
what he was doing.
"Looks like we are finished here." She said putting the lid on the
bottle
and picking up the cloth from her crossed legs.
"Yeah. Here, let me put them back." He said attempting to take the
objects
from Chloe's hands.
"No, no it's fine." She said standing up but Jeff took her hand in
his. She
nearly fainted at how soft his silk like hands brushed against hers as their
palms joined and he slowly wrapped his fingers around her hand, seeming to
take great care to not hurt the young brunette.
"Let me." He said taking the belongings with his left hand. He stood
up and
walked out of the room, leaving her alone with a smiling Christian.
"He is taken." Christian said smiling widely.
