chapter 10

Chris let her cry for a bit longer before he decided to get her out of the hallway and out of the way of prying eyes.  Chris gently eased Lita into a standing position and led her down a hallway to his locker room.  He would have taken her into Jeff's locker room, but since Jami and him were alone in there, he was afraid of what he might find.

Once they reached his locker room, he eased her onto a small couch.  "I'll be right back, okay?  Don't leave!" he pleaded with her before hurrying out of the room.  He rushed down numerous hallways before he found the locker room he was looking for.  He knocked quickly on the door and it was immediently answered by Torrie Wilson.  "Torrie, please, I need your help!  It's Lita!  Her memory is still gone and she seems really distraught and I don't know what to do!  Can you come and talk to her?" Torrie nodded and followed Chris quickly through the halls.

As they entered the locker room, Lita looked up with a tear stained face.  Before Chris could introduce Torrie to her, Lita's eyes grew wide.  "Torrie!  Right?  Your name is Torrie!?" Torrie smiled at her.  "Yep, that's my name!  I'm glad you remembered it!" Chris just looked on in amazement.

Torrie crossed the room and hugged Lita.  "Now girl, tell me what's wrong." Lita began to cry again as the story tumbled from her lips.  Torrie nodded at certain parts and said comforting words at other times.  Finally Lita seemed to have calmed down.  "Why don't we walk back to Jeff and Matt's locker room and see if Jami and Jeff are ready to be disturbed yet." Torrie suggested, pulling Lita up off the couch and out the door.

Immediately they were confronted by a petite, muscular woman with long brown hair.  Lita's eyes widened in suprise and she let out a startled gasp.  "Ivory." was the only word she uttered before passing out into the arms of Chris Jericho.
