"Lita? Hun, wake up!" Torrie
gently prodded and Lita's eyes fluttered open. She could feel
the cold cement floor through her shirt and she knew she was laying on
her back. She saw the concerned faces of Torrie, Ivory and Chris
leaning over her. "What happened?" Lita
asked, struggling to sit up. "You passed out." Chris
told her simply. Lita nodded, "Yeah, I remember that
now. I remember walking out of the locker room and seeing Ivory.
And then I had a flashback of the chair hitting my head." Lita
told them.
Ivory kneeled down next to her and grabbed her
hands. "Lita, I am so sorry about what happened! I
honestly didn't mean to hurt you! The chair just hit wrong! I
feel so bad! I'm truly sorry!" Ivory apologized
profusely. Lita managed to give her a small smile. "It's
okay, I know you didn't mean for it to happen like it did. Jami
and Matt explained that to me. It's okay." Ivory gave
a sigh of relief. "Oh, I am so glad you feel that way!
I was so worried about you!" Ivory said.
She started to say more but she was interrupted
by someone else. "Well, I still say she's faking all of
this. She always was such a drama queen." Lita looked
up into the cold eyes of a tall, leggy blonde. Torrie stood up
and faced the other blonde. "Oh shut up Stacy.
You have no idea what you are talking about! I suggest you mind your
own business!" "And who is going to make me?" Stacy
asked with a sneer. "I will." Chris said,
standing next to Torrie.
Lita stood up and put a hand on Chris' shoulder
and her other hand on Torrie's. "It's okay guys, let me
handle this." Before saying a word to Stacy, she leaned over
and whispered to Torrie, "Who exactly is she?" Torrie
whispered back, "Stacy Keibler, she was Ivory's tag team
partner in the match you were injured in." Lita nodded.
"So, you have some sort of problem with
me?" Lita asked Stacy.
Stacy raised an eyebrow at her. "Yeah, I have a problem
with you. See...the thing is...I don't like you. I think you are
just another slut that slept her way to the top." Lita
clenched and unclenched her jaw before she replied. "I
hate to ruin your image of me, but I didn't sleep my way anywhere.
Unlike you, I actually have the talent for this business!" Stacy
looked at her, shocked that Lita had spoken so harshly. Usually
Lita would just roll her eyes and ignore her.
Ivory stood next to Lita, "Stacy, maybe
you should leave now." she suggested. Stacy looked at
Lita, noticing her clenched fists and narrowed eyes. She turned
and flounced away without saying another word. Lita let out a
relieved sigh before the group resumed their journey to Matt and
Jeff's locker room.
