chapter 2
"So Kendall wanna break your goody two shoes mold and
go see some hot men in tights with me?" Riley
Carpenter cornered Kendall on the patio, just out of
earshot of the others.
Kendall grinned, devilishly, "I'd love to. I hate
these parental brunches. Give me ten minutes to get
out of this silk dress nightmare and tell my parents."
"You get out of the dress, I'll tell our parents that
there is a book reading in town." Riley winked.
Kendall squealed with delight as she walked inside. If
her parents knew where she was going they'd be so mad
and ground her to the basement for sure. All the more
reason to go. After all, it's what granddaddy wants
her to do anyway.
Kendall slipped on a pair of snug fitting Levi's and
an equally snug fitting babytee, accentuating her
curvaceous body. Drawing her blonde hair up in to a
ponytail as she ran down the stairs. She grabbed her
house keys and purse from the stand by the door.
"Bye mom. Bye dad. Be back later."
"Kendall, we have company." He father spoke sternly at
his daughter, "I think you should stay here and
entertain Bobby."
Kendall let out a deep breath, blowing up her bangs,
"No. I'm going with Riley. I'll be home later."
"Kendall."
"Granddaddy told me to associate with people my own
age and interests." She kissed his cheek, knowing
granddaddy was her trump card. Her father never fought
back when she said the magic word.
"Home by ten."
"I'm 18. Midnight."
"You have classes tomorrow. Eleven."
"Midnight. Bye." She quickly closed the door behind
her before her could object.
Michael clutched his stomach, "Lucy where's my
Zantac?"

Kendall let the cool breeze blow into her face while
riding in Rileys BMW convertible. Tension just
releasing from her.
"So where are we going again?"
"A wrestling show. Some of the hottest guys in North
Carolina wrestle in it. If my parents caught me at one
of these shows, they'd have a heart attack. I'm not
socializing with the right crowd." Riley groaned.
"Our parents are shallow."
"You said it. We'll rebel together." Riley winked.
Kendall ran her tongue across her teeth, "I think I
just found my new best friend."
Riley cranked up the radio and increased her speed.

Jeff stood in the back door way of the locker room ,
overlooking the parking lot. The cool breeze felt
good against his bare chest. Matt was right. He
couldn't get her out of his head. So beautiful yet so
wrong for him. Her T-shirt fitting her like a second
skin. The jeans she wore were baggy and hung
seductively low on her hips; baring her midriff. He
shivered thinking about her. Lusting for someone who
didn't even know he existed.
Matt watched his brother standing alone with his
thoughts. He let the door slowly close, as he stood in
the hallway rolling his eyes to his best friend Shane.
"What's that for?"
"Jeff. He's been bitten by the love bug. Well more
like the crush bug. He saw a girl the other day and
now he can't stop thinking about her."
"Ah I see. What'd they talk about?"
Matt laughed, "They didn't. He saw her from the car.
She was leaving campus or something."
Shane laughed, shaking his head, "She must've been
some girl."
"She is. Kendall Morgan."
Shane whistled, "She's a babe. Too bad she's out of
his league."
"That's what Jeff said." Matt frowned, "I wish he
wouldn't sell himself short. Especially with a spoiled
socialite like her."
"Don't know man." Shane shrugged.
***************************
Riley pointed to the two young men in the hallway,
"I'll take one of each please."
Kendall smiled, "Please."
**************************
"Matt." Shane slapped his friend as he saw the two
girls; "You better tell Jeff that his socialite is
here."
Matts eyes widened, "Wholly shit. I'll be right back."
