Chapter 3
Jeff straightened out his ice blue tights over his
knee pads then attempted to draw the wings on his
face.
"Jeff! Jeff!" Matt burst through the door, startling
Jeff.
"Jesus Matt calm down."
"She's here."
Jeff nodded slowly, "Who's here?"
"Kendall Morgan."
Jeff froze. His heart started to race and his mouth
went dry. "Here? Like here at this school here?"
Matt nodded, wide eyed, "Yeah. She just walked in with
a friend. You alright?"
"Sure. She doesn't know me. I'm cool." He thought for
a minute then rushed for the door, "I wanna see her."
He stepped out into the hallway, nodding to Shane as a
decoy so he could stare at her. He bit his lip as he
saw her about ten feet away from him. He stared at her
tiny little ass cradled in a pair of jeans. The
tightness in them similar to that the other day. Her
T-shirt was snug to her chest.
'She's perfect.' He thought to himself.
Kendall caught a glimpse of blue out of the corner of
her eye, turning her head towards it. Their eyes met.
She smiled at Jeff, turning away then quickly turning
back to him. His tan, muscular chest rubbed down with
oil. His handsome features caught her eye as well.
"I'll be right back." She tapped Riley's elbow before
making her way over to him, "Hi."
Jeff smiled down at her, "Hi."
His dimples warmed her heart.
"I'm Kendall Morgan." She extended her hand to him.
Her eyes focused only on him as if they were the only
two in the hall.
"Jeff Hardy." He slipped her delicate hand into his;
"I haven't seen you here before."
"My first time. My friend Riley invited me along. We
were at a boring brunch with our families so we
skipped out." She covered her mouth; "We're bad
children."
Jeff laughed, "Bad for doing something you wanted that
was fun?"
"Yeah. You don't know our parents. Come to think of
it, I don't know really know my parents." Kendall
quickly scanned his chest, ending back up into his
green eyes, "You have nice eyes."
"Thank you. Yours are very beautiful too." He looked
down at the floor, feeling his cheeks get hot from the
blush.
She noted the blush with a touch of her hand on his
cheek, "I'll see you inside."
He absently touched his cheek as she disappeared down
the hall and into the gymnasium. He turned back to
Matt and Shane, who were grinning from ear to ear."
"A new hope arises for Jeff Hardy."

Kendall fanned herself inside the hot, stuffy gym
waiting for the next match to begin. She was enjoying
herself very much even though she had no idea what was
going on. Anything was better than being at home right
now.
The music hit and a smile formed on her face as Jeff
emerged from behind the curtain. His face now fully
painted with green and blue wings. His semi long
blonde hair was wet down and dripping onto his
shoulders. She followed his body around the outside of
the ring as he greeted the crowd.
"Isn't that the guy you were talking to earlier?"
Riley whispered into her ear.
Kendall just smiled and nodded, never taking her eyes
off of him. There was just something about him that
intrigued her.
"Wouldn't he send your father into a tailspin if you
brought him home?"
"Yeah really." Her heart sped up as he made his way
closer to her.
He paused in front of her, leaning over the railing,
"Will you meet up with me after the show?"
"Sure." She replied with a huge smile on her face.
He touched her chin before continuing on, glancing
back to her every so often.
