Chapter 25

It had been a long day. Everyone was tired. Leah and Jeff were in their room getting ready for bed and Colleen and Matt were doing the same thing in their room.

In Jeff and Leah's room...............................

As Leah was finishing getting ready for bed Jeff sat on the edge of the bed and thought. "I have to get over the fear of being here." Jeff thought to himself as he just sat there. He knew deep in his heart that he had to try. For his family's sake. At least.  All Leah had to do was look at Jeff and see how much he was hurting. She could only do so much and Jeff himself knew that. Both of them were tired. They needed their sleep and that is exactly what they did. Go to sleep.
In Matt and Colleen's room they did the same thing.

The next morning everyone was well rested and really hungry. All of them hadn't eaten in a while.

Colleen woke up to the sound of Gil making her favorite......Pancakes! For once she and Leah didn't have to cook for the boys! Nice break.

Colleen wanted to have a shower before Matt woke up. She needed to calm her nerves after what Matt told her last night. She felt sorry for Jeff but knew that Leah was there to help him through it.
She got in the shower and just let the water run down her body. Showers were always good for her, they always made her clam and she felt better after having one. The bathroom was her safe place when she wasn't in Matt's arms.
"Man, that felt better." Colleen said herself as she got out of the shower. To her surprise Matt was now up.

"Morning babe." Matt said to Colleen as he made the bed.
"Morning to you to baby." Colleen replied walking over to Matt  giving him a long passionate kiss.
"What was that for?" Matt asked with a smile wider then the mississippi.
"Do I really need a reason?" Colleen replied with an equally big smile.
"No you don't, but I am glad that you did." Matt replied.

For a few minutes they didn't talk all they did was get dressed. As Colleen was getting dressed she contemplated whether or not to tell Matt about Leah being pregnant. She finally came to a decision she would tell him. If she didn't she knew she would spill it to someone that didn't need to know yet.

After a long silence, Colleen finally spoke up.

"Matt, I have something to tell you but you can't tell anyone, especially Jeff." Colleen started looking at Matt for a response.

"Ok, I won't tell anyone." Matt replied as he started to get a weird feeling in his stomach.

"Ok, this might come as a surprise to you, heck I was surprised too.... Colleen began but Matt cut her off.

"Out with it already! Is something wrong with you?" Matt said as his eyes went form impatience to worry.

"Nothing is wrong with me. I might as well just start form the beginning. Do you remember back in Miami when we were at the hotel eating breakfast and I said that I got a really weird feeling in my stomach? Well it had something to do with Leah."

"Is she alright?" Matt asked staring blankly at Colleen

"She is just fine, in fact better then fine. She is pregnant."

"Did you just say what I thought I heard you say? Leah is pregnant?" Matt responded a little surprised.

"Yes you heard right. But you can't tell Jeff yet. He doesn't know. Promise me that you won't tell him?" Colleen asked him with puppy dog eyes.

"I promise that I won't tell Jeff." Matt responded leaning in to give Colleen a hug.

"Thank you Matt, I really appriate it."

"Your welcome."

With that, Matt grabbed Colleen's hand and they walked to the kitchen. Colleen couldn't wait to eat. She also couldn't wait to go and see the rest of Cameron for the rest of the day.
