Chapter 19

It was getting dark out so they all decided to go back to the hotel. They all piled into Matt's jeep and headed home. All of them weren't that tired so they all decided to go to Leah and Jeff's room and watch movies. Of course, as always Jeff had to pay for them. It didn't bother him though because he was with family.

In the hotel room..................................................................

As Matt and Jeff playfully faught about what movies they wanted, Colleen and Leah decided to "catch up" a little.

"Leah, do you mind if we talk a little and get to know each other a little more?" Colleen asked with a little hesitation in her voice.

"No I don't mind at all, I would love to get to know you better." Leah replied as a smile started to form across her face.

"Good, I'm glad. Do you remember our parents at all?" Colleen asked and they both went to go and sit on the couch to be more comfortable.

"Actually I do, just a little though. They loved us very much." Leah replied still looking at her sister with loving eyes.

"Well I am glad you do becuase I can only remember how they died. At first I was really upset and I closed off form everyone, well at least that is what my foster parents told me. I still can't believe that they were killed by a drunk driver. All they wanted to do was have a night out, a night away from us kids and look what happened."

"I know, I know, it was really hard and bad the way that they died, but we got through it. All is good now." Leah said trying to console her sister.

"Anything else that you would like to talk about right now?" Leah asked wanting to get to watching the movies.

"No, I am just glad we got to talk about what we did." Colleen responded as she go up to give her sister a hug.

"I'll be right in to watch the movies." Leah told her sister as she sat back down.

"Have you two numbskulls pick out any movies to watch yet?" Colleen asked as she went and sat down on the big chair in the corner.

Not soon after she said that Leah walked in and sat in the middle of the couch.

"Yes, as a matter of fact we have." Jeff said as he sluged his brother in the shoulder one last time.

"Well for some comedic relief we have "Meet The Parents" and for those of you in the audience that would like to shed a tear once and a while we have "Titanic"." Matt said as he bowed but was elbowed in the stomach again by his brother for being such a weirdo.

"Sounds good to me, I haven't even seen "Meet the Parents" so I think that I would like to watch that one first, I would love a laugh." Colleen said smiling at Matt as he was wincing in pain.

"Well alrighty then, Meet The Parents it is." said Matt as he put the tape in the VCR.

Matt went over to Colleen and sat with her as Jeff did the same thing with Leah. The was starting and everyone in the room was comfortable.
