Chapter 17
It had been a long day and everyone needed
sleep. So that is exactly what they did. As soon as Colleen and Matt and Leah
and Jeff hit their hotel rooms they hit the pillows and were out before you
could say "Goodnight".
The next morning.............................................................................
"Today is going to be good" Leah
said to herself as she was getting dressed just watching Jeff sleep. She was
going to get to know her sister more and Matt and Jeff were going to try and
get closer. Things were looking up. She was still sorry that she had run
away but everyone had told her the night before that they understood why she
did it and she was glad. Compared to last night she was feeling like she
was on top of the world. She had met her long lost sister, she had moved
to a new place and last of all she was with the man she loved with all of her
heart. She shook her head and decided to cook her and Jeff some
breakfast. She was starving and she was sure that Jeff would feel the
same when he would smell the food.
A half hour later Leah had finished cooking
breakfast and was waiting for Jeff to get up. Finally she heard some sturring
coming from the bedroom. Jeff was up. She was glad.
In the
bedroom.......................................................
Jeff was getting dressed and he could smell
bacon and eggs comeing from the kitchen. He was as hungry as a horse. He was
glad that Leah had cooked and that he didn't have to. Jeff walked to the
bedroom door and just stared at Leah. "Man she was beautiful and she was
his" Jeff thought to himself as he walked into the tiny kitchen and
cleared his throt so Leah would know that he was in the room.
"Morning baby." Jeff said as he
went up behind Leah and hugged her. She jumped at first but then realized it
was Jeff.
"Morning to you to baby." Leah
said as she turned around and kissed him.
"You should get some breakfast in to
you before we have to and meet Colleen and Matt." Leah said stepping away
form Jeff to go to the bathroom.
"Alrighty." Jeff replied as he
dished himself out some breakfast.
In Matt and Colleen's
room................................................
It was almost 10am and no one in the room
was awake. That was until Colleen's alarm clock went off. It was time
for them to get up. Both of them but Colleen knew that it was going to be a
chore for her to get Matt up and keep him that way. She figured she
better do it now or they would be really late in meeting Jeff and Leah in the
lobby of the hotel.
"MATT GET YOUR BUTT OUT OF BED!"
Colleen yelled at the top of her lungs to get Matt out of bed.
"WHAT?!" Matt yelled back as he
fell out of bed at the surprise of Colleen scaring the crap out of him.
"We are supposed to be getting ready
to meet Leah and Jeff." Colleen said between laughs.
"Oh, I knew that but you didn't have
to yell at me." Matt said with his famous puppy dog eyes.
"Sorry hunny, but I didn't know how
else to get you up." She said knowing full well that she could have just
shook him awake but doing it the way that she did was way more fun.
Colleen went to the bathroom as Matt got
dressed.
As Matt was getting dressed he couldn't
help but think about his brother. It had seemed like forever since they had
last seen each other, but now they were back to talking to each other and he
could wait to talk to him even more.
As he finished that thought he heard the
bedroom door open and it was Colleen. He quickly tried to pull his shirt
over his head but just as he finished she came back with a snide comment
"It's not like I haven't seen any of
that before." With a smile on her face. he couldn't help but blush.
"Well if your ready and I'm ready then
maybe we should head down to the lobby." Colleen said as she took Matt's
arm and walked through the door and too the elevators.
