Rico Out For Two Months!
Last week on Smackdown, you saw Rico and Charlie Hass lose their WWE Tag Team Titles to the Dudley's. During that match Rico was thrown to the outside and apparently suffered some type of leg injury. He somehow finished the match but needed help to the back due to the injury. We have just received word that Rico will be out for the next 2 months to recovery from his injury. Could this lead to an angle with Charlie Hass and Miss Jackie? Only time will tell so be sure to check the results section on Wednesday for your Smackdown spoilers.
AJ Styles Issues Open Challenge
This week on PPV, AJ Styles was supposed to defend his "X Division" title against Kid Kash. Unfortunately for Kash, he broke his leg earlier this week and will be unable to compete against Styles. Upon hearing the news of Kash's injury, Styles issued an open challenge to anyone in the wrestling world for his "X Division" gold. The challenge has been accepted and apparently it is a "major player NOT on the TNA roster". Who could this wrestler be and what kind of IMPACT will he have upon his arrival? Rey Mysterio Jr. Wins Cruiserweight Gold!
Rey Mysterio Jr. defeated the recently fired Chavo Classic to win the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. While this was to be expected with Chavo Guerrero's recent firing, at least the WWE did the right thing and put the title on its most exciting cruiserweight.
