LETS GO TO PRISON

Starring Dax Shepard, Will Arnett, Chi McBride, and David Koechner.

When the son of a judge and a man the judge has sentenced to prison end up incarcerated together, the criminal decides to take the naive young man under his wing and school him in the ways of corruption and thievery.

The funny parts are in the trailer above. But the story is not that bad. The beginning is funny, they show you all the mug shots of celebs who have been sent to jail. You'll be surprise on some of them.

Cant Watch happy Feet, or Casino Royale. Give this on a chance.

CASINO ROYALE

Starring Daniel Craig, Eva Green (Dreamers fame), and Judi Dench.

Casino Royale introduces James Bond before he holds his license to kill. But Bond is no less dangerous, and with two professional assassinations in quick succession, he is elevated to '00' status. Bond's first 007 mission takes him to Madagascar where he is to spy on a terrorist, Mollaka. Not everything goes to plan and Bond decides to investigate, independently of MI6, in order to track down the rest of the terrorist cell. Following a lead to the Bahamas, he encounters Dimitrios and his girlfriend, Solange. He learns that Dimitrios is involved with Le Chiffre, banker to the world's terrorist organizations. Secret Service intelligence reveals that Le Chiffre is planning to raise money in a high-stakes poker game in Montenegro at Le Casino Royale. MI6 assigns 007 to play against him, knowing that if Le Chiffre loses, it will destroy his organization. 'M' places Bond under the watchful eye of the beguiling Vesper Lynd. At first skeptical of what value Vesper can provide, Bond's interest in her deepens as they brave danger together and even torture at the hands of Le Chiffre. In Montenegro, Bond allies himself with Mathis MI6's local field agent, and Felix Leiter who is representing the interests of the CIA. The marathon game proceeds with dirty tricks and violence, raising the stakes beyond blood money and reaching a terrifying climax.

Beggining was pretty good lots of action and stunts. Then the story started to drag a bit. Then it became a love story. Finally a Bond film.

This new Bond compared to the previous ones was a little reckless. Previous Bonds where sueve.

The running time is about 2hr30min. But you don't really feel it.
The rating is PG13.

I recomend it.
Plus the new Spiderman 3 trailer plays before Royale starts.

HAPPY FEET

So I watch HAPPY FEET this weekend,
Starring Robin Williams, Hugh Jackman , Elijah Wood, Nicole Kidman, Britney Murphy, and Hugo Weaving.

Its about emperor penguins who can sing from their souls. But then there is one penguin that's born who can't sing like the rest of penguins, but instead he can tap dance.

Well this movie was freakin funny, atleast to me. You should really go check it out on friday when it comes out.

This is a musical comedy animation and the songs are classic rock and the dance routines are Broadway-theater clever and these songs and dances never stop throughout the film.

She sees and feels the brutal murder of a young woman she's never met, at the hands of a heartless killer # a man who appears to be making Joanna his next target. Determined to fight back, Joanna is guided by her nightmares to the murdered woman's hometown. FLUSHED AWAY
The voices for the characters are Hugh Jackman as Roddy, Kate Winslet as Rita, Ian McKellen as the Toad, Jean Reno as Le Frog.

The story is about a Roddy who lives in a nice house in Kensington London. He gets a unwanted visitor, a rat from the sewers who kicks Roddy out by flusing him down the toilet.
Roddy encounters a new world down in the drains where he meets Rita who agrees to help him get back to his home above ground. At the same time Rita has some problems the Toad, that Roddy helps her with.

I was laughing all thru this movie. Yeah i know its a kids movie but it look good, which it was. The sewer slugs made it real funny with their singing.

But then he get sidelide and becomes interested in Pamela Anderson, thus making a cross country trip from New York to Los Angeles.

Sacha really does get into his character, never breakin, thus making it more believable.

This one was pretty funny. I was really Lauging Out Loud. There where some slow parts but it picked up quick again.

This movie is RATED R, for the strong Language, and some nudity...and i dont mean girl nudity...ewww..

MARIE ANTOINETTE
Finally saw this one.

Starring Kirsten Dunst, Jason Schwartzman, Molly Shannon, and Rip Torn. Written and directed by Sofia Copola.

The story is about, acourse Marie Antoinette, who was married off to the Daphane of France who would later become King of France Louis XVI. Thus makin her Queen.

It shows you what happend during her 1st years, her struggles to have a heir to the throne. Her Spending, gambling. Thus making her the most hated of the Royal Family during the French Revolution.

They story is very accurate to what really publically happended, but private life. Well i believe is unknown.

I sort of liked it. It kinda dragged for a bit. They focus too much on little things. But all in all it was not bad. Sofia Coppola tells the story with crazy music.

Gots some time, like history. Check this one out.

SAW 3
Saw 3 what can i say another sequel.

Starring Tobin Bell as Jigsaw, and Shwnee Smith as Amanda (the girl that helps out Jigsaw). Two other actors from the 1st and 2nd one Dina Meyer and Donnie Walberg.

This movie is about the same character from the previous 2 Saws' John a.k.a Jigsaw Who goes back to doing what he does best and that "helping people realized the wrongs they have done, and that they have been given a second chance if only they could escape whatever contraption they are stuck in. This is still a continuation of the last 2 Saws', but this time Jigsaw has serious health problems, so his apprentice Amanda kidnappeds a doctor who can help him survive.

IMBD PLOT SUMMARY:
Jigsaw has disappeared. Now aided by his new apprentice Amanda (Shawnee Smith), the puppet-master behind the cruel, intricate games that have terrified a community and baffled police has once again eluded capture and vanished. While city detectives scramble to locate him, Dr. Lynn Denlon (Bahar Soomekh) is unaware that she is about to become the latest pawn on his vicious chessboard. One night, after finishing a shift at her hospital, Lynn is kidnapped by the deranged Amanda and taken to an abandoned warehouse where she meets Jigsaw, aka: John Kramer (Tobin Bell), who's now bedridden and on the verge of death. Lynn is told that she must keep the madman alive for as long as it takes Jeff (Angus Macfayden), another of his victims, to complete a game of his own. Racing against the ticking clock of Jigsaw's own heartbeat, Lynn and Jeff struggle to make it through each of their vicious tests, unaware that Jigsaw and Amanda have a much bigger plan for both of them...

There are a lot of flashback to part 1 and 2. They explain a lot of the things that you didnt see. Which i thought wa pretty cool.
If you have some time this weekend i suggest that you check this one out. But be warned that this movie is Rated R and its NOT FOR THE WEAK OF STOMACH There were some scenes where i wanted to close my eyes.

THE PRESTIGE
Starring Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Scarlett Johansson, Michael Caine, Piper Perabo, Andy Serkis, David Bowie Directed by Christopher Nolan The same guy who directed BATMAN BEGINS Based on the novel by Christopher Priest II This movie is Rated PG-13 for violence and some disturbing images.

From this moment on, their lives become webs of deceit and exposure, secrets and revelations, as they feud to outwit and destroy one another. Their rivalry takes them both to the peak of their careers, but with terrible consequences.

Watched it yesterday. 1st off its about 2hr10min and was already thinkin that was too long for me. This is the type of movie that you have to pay attention all the way thru. So no Bathroom breaks.
But you know what i actually liked this movie, not just because im intriged by magic. The story kept jumping from past present and future. thats why i say that you must pay attention.

FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS
This movie stars, Ryan Phillippe, Joseph Cross, Jesse Bradford, Robert Patrick, Paul Walker, and Adam Beach. Directed by Clint Eastwood.

The story is about the 7 men who raised U.S flag at the battle of Iwo Jima, during WWII. The photo that was taken immortalized them. But only 3 that raised the flag would survive to tell the story. So the U.S government decides to used them as the poster childs of the War. Parading them around in order for the American people to buy War Bonds. They did this knowing that they knew the truth.

Ok so the beginning was pretty cool, war, people getting shot at. Body parts flyin everywhere. Then since this movie is a drama. Well I dont have to give you the definiton of a Drama. I was falling asleep. Eastwood did a lot of flashbacks. It all takes place in 3 different time period. The soilders flashbacks of Iwo Jima, them during their War Bond Tours, and in present time when one of the survivors was telling the story to one of the sons of Ryan Phillippe's charactor.

If your into dramas, like Eastwoods movies. Check this one out. Its the same style as Million Dollar Baby.
Also like his other movies this ones long. About 2hr 25 with preview.

Thats all

MAN OF THE YEAR
Had some time today, so i decided to watch this one.

This one star Robin Williams, Christorpher Walken, Laura Linney, Lewis Black, and Jeff Goldblum. Also directed by Barry Levinson.

Story is about a comedy (Williams) who is so popular in the Talk show circuit. That he is asked to run for President of the United States. He thinks its a good idea and goes for it. Never expecting to win. At the same time a computer company creates a program that should eliminate the hassle of voting by computerizing it.

Ok so the beginning was funny, specially when Williams was doing his stand up routine. Half way thru. It started getting boring, but then it got somewhat funny. Then boring.

What I'm tryin to say is that as long as Robin Williams was doing his stand up routines this was a good movie but when he wasn't a little boring

Want a good laugh check this one out. But don't be expecting a whole lot. Especially since this movie is almost 2hrs long.

THE MARINE
Just watched The Marine.
Starring John Cena and Robert Patrick.

Its about a marine who gets discharged after not following orders. Now he must live a regular life. Life outside isnt just what he wanted.
So when he and his wife take a vacation. They encounter some jewel thieves lead by Robert Patrick. They take Johns wife hostage, now he must get her back. At all cost.

Well this was an OK movie. The Action was great but the script kinda sucked. Could have been a whole lot better, but what do you expect. This movie was made in 2004. lots of scipt changes and scenes reshot.

Want an action movie this weekend Try this one. Otherwise stay home like i am since im a little sick..

GRUDGE 2
The Grudge 2 starring Sarah Michelle Geller and Amber Tamblyn, Also directed by the Takasi Shimizu, who directed the Original Japanese version "Ju-On"

This is the continuation of the original movie, starring Sarah Michelle Geller. She is now in the Hospital and her sister (Amber) must help bring her back home. But things start happening and and she gets exposed to what her sister was exposed to. Then other people start to get exposed and start to die.
sfigure out the movie. First I thought that i put the movie together in the wrong order but then toward the end things started to go into place. Still a little confusing. Didnt know if it was in real time or was it one of those remember sequences. Most of the Characters Never interacted with one another. It was like there was 3 different movies going on. At the same time.

There were some scary scenes where i kinda of jumped. but that creepy boy and girl popping up was getting old.

If your really bored and have nothing to do. Go ahead and watch this movie otherwise Avoid it.

THE DEPARTED
I actually had some time to watch "The Departed" last night.

It stars Leonardo DiCarpio, Jack Nickleson, Matin Sheen, Mark Walberg, and Matt Damon. Directed by Martin Scorsese.
So you already know its going to be long...about 2hr30min long.

This movie is about two guys who work for two sides of the law. One is a mole for a known Irish Mobster, and the other is an undercover with the Irish Mobster. Both are trying to figure each other out. At the same time people around them are getting killed.

I thought it was pretty good, for the length of the movie I was like really into.

You have some time really check this one out. Trust me you wont be disappointed.

Texas ChainSaw Massacre: The Beginning.
Lets start this off. I was first gonna watch this by myself..Cause Im a man i can handle it ok. Then Nesto came by and watch it too.

The story is the prequel to the Original MASSACRE'S. Telling you where Leatherface came from. Which was kinda of cool. Then the story goes to the 4 kids who are on their final road trip before going to Vietnam (yup this takes place in 1969 during the 1st Killings). They get into an accident and the local sheriff shows up. Who if you saw the previous Massacre you would know it was LeatherFaces uncle/town sheriff. Takes them to the Mansion. Thats where the good stuff happends.

I liked this one, it kinda dragged a little but kept you alert on what was going on.

Official this movie had a rating of NC17, but had to cut out a couple of scenes to give it, its current rating of R. That should tell you how gory it is.

Ladies your gonna be scared. Guys your arms are gonna hurt from them grabbing on you. But I was a little dissapointed. Not to be like a pig, but I didnt see noo Boobies. W.T.F. Shame, shame.

Got some time check this one out. Nothing like a scary movie to remind you that halloween is around the corner.

EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

Alright so i just watched it.
I was expectin a lot of laughs and you know what i was kinda disapointed about it. Even with Dane Cook

The movie stars Dane Cook, Jessica Simpson, Dax Sherpherd, and that pedro kid from napolian.

This is about a slacker (Cook)Zach who just lives to get by the day at the Super, kinda like Costco. Him and his 3 other buddies. His Rival (Sherpherd) Vince the super employee of the months. Both are tryin to get the same cashier girl (Simpson) who just tranfered. Zach has to change his ways, (cause she likes employees of the month) to become a super employee. The guys went back and forth, kinda of like SPY -vs- SPY. Few funny things here and there. Not really Dane Cook comedy, but scripted crap. Like i said it had its moments.

Cook Fans, now dont go and watch this movie and have all high expectations. But it is a funny.
Check it out.
I never really did see Jessica Simpsons Beauty til now. Its from her neck down. Seriously.

SCHOOL FOR SCOUNDRELS
Watched it last night. It stars John Hedner, and Billy Bob Thorten.

This movie is basically about a guy who has very low self esteem, especially with this one girl in his apartment. But it goes beyond that, kids don't even want to be his little bro in the big brother program. His buddy hooks him up with a guy who teaches guys to have better self esteem. But not your regular self esteem class this goes well beyond that. He shows him to be tough, gives him the rules about dating, makes him believe he can do anything. Kinda like guidelines. Johns character becomes the best in the class, that it starts a feud with the teacher. Who is trying to hook up with Johns girlfriend. As part of test, maybe? That's when the fun starts.
You got some time check this one out. Its gots lot of laughs. But if you havent seen Jackass do that 1st.
Other noteable actors were Sarah Silverman and Horatio Sanz.

JackAss 2
Aight so i saw Jackass 2. I really like the 1st one and i really liked this one. They did a lot of crazy stunts some that made me almost throw up. Yeah it was a little crazy.
It stars the same cast from the original. So the expectations were high.

I really cant go into much detail cause it like the original. Its like watchin a long uncensored episode of Jackass on MTV.

What im tellin u is to go out and watch this one. Show the support so they can make the 3rd one.

Caution though, this one is not really for the week of heart, or stomach.

Its about and hour and half long. But you wont really feel it.

The Black Dahlia
What can i say i just watched it and i was disappointed.

Its about two cops who are nicknamed Fire and Ice (Bucky Bleichert (Josh Hartnett) and his partner, Lee Blanchard Aaron Eckhart. They are both incharge of finding the killer for a young starlet Elizabeth Short during the 1940's. Bucky soon realizes that his girlfriend (Hillary Swank)had ties to the deceased, and soon after that, he begins uncovering corruption and conspiracy within the police department.

The first 40 minutes wasn't even about the Black Dahlia murder, but more about the two cops. Then when the murder happends, the story starts going into so many directions that i was like what? The acting was good, setting where good. Just that the story took too long to get started. Then when it did, they do the classic bad guy tells you how they did it. and poof. its the End of the movie.

The story was based on the novel (by James Ellroy, same guy who did L.A Confidential), and inspired by the real murder.

This one doesnt come close to L.A Confidential, but good try.

Its up to you if you want to see.
I had a choice of watching THE GUARDIAN. and this one. And Im sticking to my choice. Heard Guardian wasnt that good either.
