The Covenant
So I watched THE COVENANT. The preview looked promising. Boy was I wrong.

The story is about a group of kids who's 4 families were the original witches of Salem, with the 5th family thought dead. They live normal lives. Except for the fact that they have supernatural powers. All is well til a decentdant of the 5th family arrives and wants their powers.

This movie was directed by Renny Harlin, the same guy who directed.
Exorcist The beginning
Cuttrhroat Island.
Not good references.

This is kind of a chick flick since I didn't see that many girls... too much of those freakin guys.

But I wouldn't reallly recomend this one. (Unless ur a girl) But if ur really bored go check it out.

The Protector
The Protector, starring Tony Jaa (Ong-bak) and also directed by Prachya Pinkaew(Onk-bak).

The story is about a man whose was brought up true to his heritage. His father was offering the prized family elephants to the king of Thailand, but were stolen. His father tells him that it is his duty to bring back the elephants back alive. He travels to Australia (where he bumps into Jackie Chan, just a quick cameo). Where he discovers a big crime syndicate are responsible for stealing the elaphants. Now he must figth them to get the elephants back.

The movie wasn't that bad. If u were a fan of Ong-bak, then u will enjoy this one. Tony Ja is known as the man who does his own stunts without the help of wiring, harness, or even special effects. Their were some fighting scenes where one single camera followed him for a couple of minutes.

Got sometime check it out..

The Illusionist
The Illusionist starring Edward Norton, Jessica Biel, and Paul Giamatti.

The story is about a illusionist (Norton) who grew up a carpenters son, but learned about magic. He impressed a young Duchess (Biel), whom he is forbinden from seein, because royalty doesnt associate with peasants. He leaves so he can learn more about the world of magic.
Years later he shows up in town grown up with lots of illusions that sellout shows, and finding his love again (Biel).

If you have a chance you should really go and check this one out.
It runs about 2hrs wont really feel it

So i just watched Crank,

Wow this is a trippy @ss movie. You pretty much have to be on something to really enjoy this movie. Then again maybe not.

Star the same guy that did The Transporter and The Transporter 2, and sexy Amy Smart.

The movie is about a guy who is injected with a fluid that makes ur heart stop if you stop.
He has to find the cure but at the same time has to keep moving otherwise he dies. He uses everything from Red Bull, energy pills to.

This movie wasn't that bad action was good, story was ok, lots of nudity...(just thought i let you know). So that means its Rated R.

Go and Check this one out if you have a chance.

BEERFEST
OK now so i just watched BEERFEST from the same people who brought us SUPER TROOPERS, (broken lizard).

If you watched Super Troopers you will recognize a couple of the same people on BeerFest.

Story is about a 2 brothers who have to go to Germany and give their dead grandfather his wishes of going back for his octoberfest ceremony.
When they get there, they hear some stories about him and his mother and both are embarrassed infront of a secret beerfest crowd. Determined to get back their honor and grandfathers. They decided to train for then next BeerFest with the help of their buddies. They Train all year til the Day comes. Thats when the real fun begins.

Yeah so i laugh, a couple of times by myself. You have to have a good sense of humor to really enjoy this movie. Or atleast be a fan of Super Troopers.

Wants some good Laughs, then this is the movie for you. After your done watching go and get yourself a dam beer. That a wimpy ass smirnoff.

By the way this movie is rated R for strong language, and lots of nudity...yes i wrote it. he he..

IDLEWILD
Just Watched IdleWild. This was like watching Chicago and Rent put together but the black versions without all that freakin signing. more dancing and outkast songs. The whole movie was like listening to their new album..LOL.

Starring Andre 3000 and Big Boi

The story is about 2 guys who grow up together but with different lifestyles. Ones a Son(Andre) of a Funeral Directors, the other is the son(Big Boi) of a bootlegger. Different lives but best of friends.

They both look out for each other from childhood to adulthood when their lives begin to change.

I like this movie story was ok but the dancing and the signing wasnt that bad either.

SNAKES ON A PLANE
So i watched the highly anticipated SNAKES ON A PLANE.
I actually did like it. The special effecton the snakes where kinda cheezy but what the heck. It had a lot of attack scenes, sex, and some funny parts.

The story is about a kid who witness a murder by a mobster in Hawaii. They try to Kill him but Agent Flynn (Samuel L Jackson) gets to him first and tells him, he needs him to go to L.A and be a witness for the prosecution. Which he has no choice. The Mobster find out he is going on a plane. So they put a Crate Full of Snakes spayed with hormones (Snakes on Crack). Hell breaks loose once the plan is in the air.

Movie night continued with me watching ZOOM.
This movie stars Tim Allen. Courtney Cox, Chevy Chase, and Rip Thorn.

The story is about Zoom (Tim Allen, former SuperHero) who has to train a couple of kids to battle a SuperVillian who is threating the Earth.

Wow so I was watching a kids movie.
This movie isn't bad for kids. Got some take them to watch it.
Its got a good soundtrack.

Pulse is the American version of the Japanese Film "Kairo".
Its Almost an exact remake of it

This version was suppose to be directed by Wes Craven. But he backed out, so he co-wrote it with the same japanese man who wrote the original.

The story is about a computer hacker who finds a frequency to the other side (world of the dead). They start coming thru a lot @ a time. Taking the life from the living.
A group of kids try to find a way to stop them, before its too late.

I kinda like this movie. Wasn't really expecting much, but it was ok. A couple of scenes that made u want to jump. I believe this movie is PG13. Meaning not that scary.

If u haven't seen the movie "Descent" I suggest watching that first, then this one.

So i watched Accepted.
I thought it was pretty funny. The fat kids sarcasm is nicely playout.

Movie is basically about some kids who get rejected by credited University. So they decide to create their own to fool their parents,(so they dont think their failures). Plan goes well til others find out about the fake University and want to enroll (not knowing that its a fake school).

Got some time this weekend, check this one out. I promise their are some laughs in there somewhere.

THE DESCENT
So i finally watched THe Descent today.
Everyone kept raving about so I had to see what the whole fuss was about.

Its about a group of women who are extremist and like doing crazy things. In this case Spelunking (cave explorers). They go to an undiscovered Cave system where they find more than just a new cave.

Well the 1st half of the movie was kinda boring. About to fall asleep. But when they got far into the cave thats where the real action started. Some good scary moments, I wasnt. I dont scare..

If you have some time check this one out. We all need a good scare once in a while.

WORLD TRADE CENTER
Wow just watched it. It made me really remember what happend that day.

The movie stars Nicolas Cage. Jay Hernandez, the guy from crash who I can't remember his name.

As the title says its about Sept 11.

Starts off as any normal day.
The story revolves around a group of port police officers who are asked to help out in the evacuations of the people still in the towers.
All hell breaks loose, when the towers start collapsing.
Their wills get tested. So does their families.
Pretty good movie, showed a lot of actual footage from 9/11. If you don't want to remember it all again. I don't think u should watch this movie. There were some footages from when people were jumping from the towers, real footage. Made me shiver a couple of times.

TALLADEGA NIGHTS
Screen it last night.
A lot of the funny parts they showed u in the previews were the funny parts in the movie.
But u what it is a funny movie. Will Ferrell is good in this redneck nascar stock driver role. Its a good movie to watch with a crowd.
The story is about a pit crew member who is asked to drive because the regular driver doesn't want to. He's a natural and starts winning.
Got some time check it out. Its no RON BURGANDY, but close enough.
Also I hear that THE DESCENT is not a bad scary movie to watch. Plus it has the SAW 3 preview.

JOHN TUCKER MUST DIE
So i watched this movie on friday morning @ 2am. yeah early.
Why did i watch this u ask. I didn't want to go home and sleep yet since it was my bday.

Well its not a bad movie, especially after watching Miami Vice.
This is really, and i mean really a chick flick.

The story is that A high Schooler, name John Tucker. Who is dating 3 girls @ the same time. They find out and want revenge. So the use the new girl in school to help them get their revenge by havin him fall for her and her breakin his heart.
Like I wrote earlier, Chick Flick.

MIAMI VICE
Ok just Watched MIAMI VICE. So I was like WTF. The movie is an Action/Drama. Lots of sex scenes though. The action, crazy people getting their arms and legs blown off. Literally. Wow.
Overall the movie was ok could have been better especially for a movie that is 2hr15min long.

This was directed by Michael Mann, the same guy who directed Collateral.
The movie was filmed on 35mm and on digital film. So @ times it looks funky.

If ur a fan don't expect too much.
Remember that it comes out on dvd in about 4 months.
You pick 10 per person or 3.99 @ blockbuster.
But I know that this movie will be 1 this weekend.

ANT BULLY
What a way to end a night.
By screening a movie.
So Ant Bully was the one for today.

I like this movie. Its mostly for kids but what the heck ama kid too!

Story is mostly about a young boy who gets bullied around by the neighborhood kids. When they are done bulling him. He decides to bully an Ant Colony that is in his front yard. The Ants not taking it anymore created a potion that make the kid shrink down to their side. They tell him the only way for him to go back to his normal side is to live like an Ant. Experiece it all. He learns a lot.

Good story, was awake the whole time.

MY SUPER EX-GIRLFRIEND
I watched this movie. Big mistake. If I wasn't being paid I would have walked out.

The whole story is about a guy who meets who he thinks is an ordinary girl. A girl who turns out to be a superhero name G-Girl. But she becomes too attached and the guy played by Luke Wilson starts getting freaked out. The story keeps going.
If you want to know what happens just watch the preview for it.

Pretty much what im trying to say is avoid this movie.

Clerks 2
If you like the original clerks. Then you will like this.
I went in with high expectations and guess what they were met.
I don't know if its just me but i like these types of movies.
I laugh, made funky eww faces.

The story is a continuation of the original that came out like 12 years ago.
This time around Dante and Randall have to go on with their lives without the Quick Stop.
Jay and Silent Bob both make their apperances. Both Funny especially Jay.

Have some time this weekend or you like the original. I recomend that you check this one out.

Another M.Night Shamalan movie.

Now this one, I was already going thinkin that he better get some respect back with this movie.

Kinda missed the beginning, which i think didnt matter cause the story went along good.

Its basically about a girl who need to get back home and the only way she can get back is with the help of the people in the apartments who which all have important roles, in helping her.

The story is good, kept me awake for most of it...
The soundtrack kept me thinkin that i was watching SIGNS. Almost same tracks.

Some scenes with that freaky dog might make the scary ones jump (not me too tired to jump).

Have time to kill check this one out.
