K.J. Bleus' Portal Website.... Welcome!!!

Greetings from K.J. Bleus, and welcome to my little slice of cyberspace. I'm a long-time blues enthusiast who enjoys the virtues of 1960's British Blues and 1950's through 1980's Chicago Blues music. I'm very into the roots of these two scenes, and enjoy communicating with other like-minded individuals. If you are on the same musical wavelength as I am about blues music, come visit the variety of information provided on this webpage. And if you have an interest in rare blues music, let's connect and discuss mutual possibilities of exchanges/swaps.

I've got a particular leaning towards the great British Blues masters of the mid 1960's, like Alexis Korner, Cyril Davies, Davey Graham, John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers, the Graham Bond Organisation, the Cream, the Original Fleetwood Mac, and Blind Faith. Chicago Blues musicians that get me grooving include Big Bill Broonzey, McKinley Morganfield, Walter Jacobs, Chester Burnett, Robert Nighthawk, Hubert Sumlin, Otis Spann, Jimmy Rogers, George 'Buddy' and Phillip Guy (the Orig Blues Bros), as well as Snooky Pryor, Junior Wells, Luther Allison, Jimmy Dawkins, Koko Taylor, Jody Williams, Samuel Lay, Michael Bloomfield, and Paul Butterfield.

Listed below are several rare original vinyls that the old Bleusy is currently searching for as collection additions:

Delta Blues Harp Masters (1957, Biograph)
Illinois Central Blues (1959, United)
Maxwell Street Blues Stage (1962 VeeJay)
Windy City Blues (1963, Nighthawk)
Confessing The Blues (1964, Chess)
Good Morning Mister Blues (1965, Storyville)
Who's Muddy Shoes (1967, Checker)
Electric Mud (1968, Checker/Blk Cov)
Biggest Thing Since Colossus (1969, Blue Horizon/UK)
Fathers And Sons (1969, Chess/FR)
