What is a quality control circle

A Quality Control Circle (QCC) is a small group of employees from the same work area that meets regularly to solve problems affecting its work area.

Why create a small group

The idea is that persons  take more interest and pride in their work if given the opportunity to influence decisions and given a say how to carry them out.

Why is QCC organized in a small group?

If a group is too big people tend to adopt a wait for others to speak attitude When the group is too small ideas might be lacking. An ideal size consists of 5 to 10 members.

Why should QCC members  be from the same section.

Members coming from the same working area experience common problems. They can contribute best to solving the problems related to ,their group
