"What's the difference?"You all may be wondering, about all those books, movies, and other things that have to do with the Scarlet Pimpernel. Well, I've put aside a bit of my "brain power" (if it should be called anything at all) to tell you. You can treat this like an FAQ if you wish. ...Which means you can e-mail me questions. I promise I'll answer them to my full potential.

How many movies are out?
Hard to say, really. So far I know of 3: the black and white version, the 1982 version (tee-hee), and the 1999 version. The black and white version is closer to the book than the others, probably because producers and everyone else had more respect for the original version, unlike the 1999 version...well...let's just say that everything is the same yet...different. The 1982 version, on the other hand...well, let's not mess with that one. I'd rather have no comment on it at all than diss anything that my Anthony is in. (Hint, hint: If you haven't seen the 1982 version but you want to be able to comment on it, then for fuzzball's sake, watch it!)

Which movie is the musical closer to?
The 1982 version. (HINT!) Well...there were some small detailed differences. For instance, the video's Armand is waaaaaay cuter, the ball is mildly different, and the end is...well...kind of different. I mean, you just have to have it different for the musical, I mean c'mon! Well, it's very interesting to see all the different endings all these versions have, but the bad part about it is that you get so confoosled that you can't remember who's who, what's what, when's where, and...oh, sink me, I've gotten myself confoosled again.
