3	Alice Hunt was born circa 1773 in Franklin Co., North Carolina. She died before 1812. She married first John Seawell circa 1793 in North Carolina. She married second Rhodan Rawlings on November 3, 1808 in Sumner Co., Tennessee.
4	Sarah Hunt was born circa 1775 in Franklin Co., North Carolina. She married Samuel Taylor on October 20, 1802 in Franklin Co., North Carolina.
5	Thomas Hunt was born circa 1778 in Franklin Co., North Carolina. He died circa 1830 in Sumner Co., Tennessee. He married Mary White.

Sion Hunt was born on March 15, 1769 in Bute Co., North Carolina 1. He died on May 18 2 or 20 1, 1845 in Christian Co., Kentucky. He is buried in the Flat Lick Cemetery, near Herndon, Christian Co., Kentucky. Father: Hardy Hunt Mother: Sarah Taylor In his youth, Sion moved to Franklin County, North Carolina where he probably was married Sarah in about 1792. They were enumerated there in the 1800 census. In December 1803 and March 1804, he sold his land in Franklin County. Then in 1804, he and his family moved to Sumner County, Tennessee 3, where they lived for about 25-26 years. In Sumner County, they lived off of Station Camp Creek. Then in August and December 1829, he sold his land in Sumner County, Tennessee. In September 1830, he was described as a resident of Sumner County when he purchased 288 acres of land in Christian County, Kentucky. They probably moved there in 1830. They settled in the extreme southern portion of the county, probably on land in what is now Fort Campbell, near the city of Oak Grove. Sion wrote his will on May 1, 1845, which was entered in probate court on July 7, 1845. In his will he described the following family: his wife (who he did not name); son Benjamin F. Hunt; son John J. Hunt and John's unnamed children; deceased second son Thomas and Thomas' children Sarah and Andrew D.; daughter Mary H. Murray and her sons Wm. J. Wynne and Jas. T. Wynne; and children of deceased daughter Lewtilda T. Parrish. Although he was thorough in his will, he did not mention his daughter Lucretia or any of her children. However her husband F. P. Jones was listed as one of the persons that purchased or was distributed property as part of the estate. Sion was quite wealthy. At the time of his death he owned at least 735 acres and 31 slaves. Sion and Sarah were originally buried at the Gilmer Cemetery in Christian County, but in the 1940's their graves were exhumed and reburied at Flat Lick Cemetery, near Herndon, to make way for the construction of Fort Campbell. * The above two sources give two conflicting dates of death for Sion, and the day of death is no longer legible on his tombstone.

1	Lucinda Hunt was born circa 1793 in Franklin Co., North Carolina. She died between 1813-1816 in Sumner Co., Tennessee. She married David Whitlock Parrish on July 3, 1813 in Sumner Co., Tennessee 4.. They had no known children.
2	unknown male Hunt was born circa 1795 in Franklin Co., North Carolina. A male child aged 0-10 is enumerated with this family in the 1800 census. Most likely he is the same child enumerated in the 1820 census aged 18-26. A son of about this age fits well with the fact that son Thomas was listed as Sion's second son.
3	Lutilda T. Hunt
4	Mary Hunt was born circa 1801 in Sumner Co., Tennessee 5. She died after 1860, perhaps in Calloway Co., Kentucky. She married first James T. Wynne on October 21, 1816 in Sumner Co., Tennessee 4. (He died sometime between 1823 and 1830, probably in Sumner Co., Tennessee.) They had the following children: William J. Wynne (c. 1818-1850's) md. Sarah James T. Wynne (c. 1823-aft. 1860) md. Maria Elizabeth Hall She married second Titus D. Murray on December 18, 1832 in Christian Co., Kentucky. They had one known child: Andrew H. Murray (c. 1833-1881) md. 1st Lucy A. Turner md. 2nd Susan Jane Clark Mary and her second husband Titus were apparently divorced, probably during the 1830s. In 1840, she was apparently living with her sons in her parents' household in Christian County, Kentucky. In 1850, Mary was living with her family in Natchez, Mississippi. She probably lived in Memphis, Tennessee during the late 1850s. She was living in Murray, Kentucky, in 1860.
5	Thomas Hunt was born circa 1803. He died before 1845. He married name unknown. They had the following known children: Sarah Hunt Andrew D. Hunt Not much is known of Thomas. In his father's will of 1845, Thomas is named as the "second son" and that he was deceased. The will also supplies the names of his children. He was probably enumerated with his family in the 1820 census, and would have been the male aged 16-18. He appears to have left his parent's household before the 1830 census enumeration. No known marriage for him has been found in Sumner County, Tennessee.
6	Lucretia Hunt was born circa 1805 in Sumner Co., Tennessee 5. She died after 1875. She married first John G. Wynne on June 27, 1825 in Sumner Co., Tennessee. (He died sometime between 1825 and 1827 in Sumner Co., Tennessee.) They had one child: John G. Wynne (c. 1826-1850's) md. Elizabeth Jane Radford She married second Fountain P. Jones on December 3, 1827 in Sumner Co., Tennessee. (He was circa 1800 in Kentucky 5 and died after 1870, probably in Murray, Calloway Co., Kentucky.) They had the following children: Lysander Jones (c. 1829-???) Asher Jones (c. 1831-???) Sarah Jones (c. 1835-???) md. John H. Mims Mary W. Jones (c. 1837-???) md. George W. Mims Benjamin Franklin Jones (c. 1843-???) Lucretia moved with her husband, parents, and the rest of her family to Christian County, Kentucky in about 1833. In the 1840's, Lucretia and her family moved to Todd County, Kentucky. In the 1850's, they moved to a farm near Murray in Calloway County, Kentucky, where they remained. Lucretia and Fountain probably both died there before 1880.
7	William Hunt was born circa 1807 in Sumner Co., Tennessee.
8	Dudley Hunt was born circa 1809 in Sumner Co., Tennessee.
9	John Jefferson Hunt was born circa 1810 in Sumner Co., Tennessee 5. He died sometime before October 30, 1865, probably in Christian Co., Kentucky. He married Serena C. Worrell circa 1837. (She was born circa 1820 in North Carolina 5 and died after 1860.) They had the following children: James P. Hunt (c. 1839-???) Sarah "Sally" H. Hunt (c. 1840-1885) md. Elisha Milton White William Hardy Hunt (1842-1909) md. Missouri Ann Nichols Mary Jane Hunt (c. 1846-1927) md. Shelby W. Jones Lucinda Permelia Hunt (c. 1848-1912) md. Albert Dyke David Whitlock Parrish Hunt (c. 1852-aft. 1865) Fanny/Fannie J. (or B.) Hunt (c. 1859-aft. 1865) John died sometime before October 30, 1865, when Thomas F. Worrell (his brother-in-law) resigned as guardian of his minor children; Mary, Lucinda, David and Fannie. It is possible that there was something "wrong" with John. When his father wrote his will in 1845, John was not described as an independent heir like his brothers Benjamin and James. Instead, there were many references to property "deeded in trust" for the benefit of John and his children. And in one section of the will, it was described that John's children would be considered as one legatee "after her death". Although the will clearly included the word her, it is not known who this was referring to. One option is that John was somehow mentally incapacitated and a woman (perhaps his wife Serena) was effectively his guardian. Other options were that John was sick and considered to be dying at the time of the will, or that there was some kind of family disagreement and Sion did not trust his son with his inheritance.
10	James M. Hunt was born on September 4, 1812 in Sumner Co., Tennessee 1. He died on December 4, 1860 in Christian Co., Kentucky 1. He is buried in the Flat Lick Cemetery, near Herndon, Christian Co., Kentucky. He married Eliza C. Donaldson circa 1837. (She was born on August 15, 1815 in Kentucky 1 and died on July 22, 1878 in Christian Co., Kentucky 1. She is buried in the Flat Lick Cemetery, near Herndon, Christian Co., Kentucky.) They had the following children: Katherine Gabriella Hunt (1837-1910) md. Matthew Campbell Givens Cave Ann Hunt (c. 1843-1892) md. Samuel Johnson Graham James Polk Hunt (1846-1904) md. 11	Benjamin Franklin Hunt was born on December 1, 1820 in Sumner Co., Tennessee. He died on December 18, 1872 in Navarro Co., Texas. He married Mariah Frances Donaldson on August 26, 1845 in Warren Co., Kentucky. She was born on September 9, 1823 in Warren Co., Kentucky and died on March 30, 1899 in Hill Co., Texas. They had the following children: Charles E. Hunt (c. 1846-c. 1890) md. Florence J. Westbrook C. Emma Hunt (c. 1849-aft. 1860) Dudley G. Hunt (c. 1851-aft. 1870) George Hunt (c. 1854-aft. 1870) Nellie Hunt (1857-1942) md. William Butler Donaldson Caroline "Carrie" Elizabeth Hunt (1860-1938) md. Hunt (1866-aft. 1920) Benjamin and his family moved to Texas sometime during the late 1840s. During the 1850s, they settled in Navarro County, Texas. Then after his death, his widow moved to Hill County, Texas.

Lutilda T. Hunt was born circa 1797 in Franklin Co., North Carolina ^1,6. She died on June 5, 1835 in Christian Co., Kentucky ^1,6. She is buried in the Flat Lick Cemetery, near Herndon, Christian Co., Kentucky.

Because she died so young, her name is listed on few records. It was spelled "Lutilda" on her 1816 marriage license, as "Lewtilda T." in her father's 1845 will, as "Luhlda" in an 1884 biography her son and simply as "L. T." on her tombstone. (Her namesake granddaughter's name was spelled "Lutilda"). A guess is that her middle name may have been "Taylor" or "Thomas" (her family had an odd habit of giving male middle names to female children). It is possible that she may have been nicknamed "Lula" (the nickname used by her granddaughter Lutilda Whitlock).

Lutilda was born in and spent her earliest years in Franklin County, North Carolina. In 1804, she moved with her family to Sumner County, Tennessee. In 1816, she married the widower of her older sister Lucinda. They lived off Station Camp Creek in Sumner County. In 1833, she moved with her family to southern Christian County, Kentucky, where she died soon after.
