801. CHAIN OF COMMAND:
The chain of command is established to maintain a balance of leadership in the unit. It is important that all NCOs must enforce the chain of command in order for the Cadets to establish and maintain a respect for authority. Below is the listed chain of command for 692 Air Canada RCACS: The chain of command is to be used at all times. At no time shall a Cadet ask questions to a warrant officer or senior NCO without prior permission. All Cadets will first seek an answer from a corporal or other Cadet. If the corporal cannot answer the question then the corporal will pass the question up the chain of command.
802. THE AIR CADET MOTTO:
It is important for all NCOs to know the Air Cadet motto. An NCO is expected to answer any Cadet, if asked what the motto is. Below is the Air Cadet motto, commit it to memory:

Motto

To Learn - To Serve - To Advance

It is important for moral and esprit-de-corps for all NCOs to know things such as the Air Cadet motto. It shows the Cadets that the NCOs have pride and are proud to be a Royal Canadian Air Cadet as well as a member of 692 Air Canada RCACS.
