Hum, well. I didn't do much on Halloween. Annie and I went to Azteca
for a late dinner after she got off work at 9pm. I was wearing a
glo stick around my neck and dancing around. That part was pretty
funny. :) We each had a marguerita and then we drove around. Of course
we didn't end up doing anything because we weren't dressed up nor
feeling that adventurous...so we went to her place. I played with her
kitten and immediately felt my sinuses clog up and my eyes water. So
she took me home. Done.
As for the remainder of last week; I don't remember much. But....
Last Wednesday, my 400 teacher was still sick so there was
no class. I went home and actually ventured back out for 342 cuz
we were having a midterm. Class was terrible as always. Thursday
I remember that my psych stats professor did apologize for what happened
on that Tuesday.
Cuz you see, Jesse Jackson came to speak at our school in support of
Gore. His speech was happening right when class was--11.30. The teacher
told us we could go but just come back at 12.30. Surprisingly a lot of
ppl came back, but he didn't! So after 25mins of waiting we left. I went
back to the speech and when it was over, I saw my goofy professor! I
was pissed that he wasted our time like that. GRR.
But yeah, he apologized for that.
As for Friday, it was a long day. Had review and then I went home to
vegge. Mike came down from the island and called us to Lynnwood.
There (once again at Azteca), I met his friend Max and another guy.
But the boys were singing karaoke and it was pretty embarrassing! We
stayed there until nearly 2am. :P Afterwards, there wasn't much to
do..as I was the only girl, so we just went home! It was kind of fun
though.
But this past weekend, I did NADA. NO studying. Hardly any. Probably
a collective 3hrs or so! Lar went to the game on Saturday. I was supposed to
study but got distracted. In the evening, I had plans..I'm not gonna
go and rewrite everything I did, so here's a part of an email I sent:
so then annie called and we started getting things rolling. D&D went to
pick me up and then get wilson..but there was still football traffic..and
that took forever!
we get to the apt..and leave for dinner. decided on the broadway
bar&grill..parking on broadway is insane..after prolly 20mins of looking,
we found a primo spot right in front of the place. we wait 20mins for a
table. dinner was fine. i got the calamari appetizer, which was okay..they got
sandwiches..but the guy didn't pack annie's fries too?! i hate it when
they don't do that.
then we go back to the apt to wait for nick..and it's pretty boring. i
couldn't sit or anything cuz of cat stuff..but i was breathing it in, i
know.
nick arrived and we went downtown to see a movie. but we were pretty
late..it was already after 10, and there weren't that many movies playing,
right? we end up seeing bedazzled cuz that was all that was left. and they
dropped me off before midnight!
Sunday I was supposed to study with Sandy and Wilson. But I had
stayed up so late that I just couldn't get up! I did manage to call them
and let them know. ;P But when I did get up, Lar and I went to breakfast
instead. *L* When I got back, they were done studying. So then I broke
down and studied myself.
In the afternoon, I went over to Wilson's since Annie was there and
they were studying and having dinner. It was pretty fun. I don't miss
dorm food one bit! And I was home by 8pm...but that was POINTLESS because
we had NO CABLE all weekend! So I missed the Simpsons season premiere.
That BLOWS.
This Monday, I skipped my 9.30 to sleep more, since I stayed up late
the other night. Here's why:
lar was doing some weekly hw assignment, which had ppl calling him and
vice versa...i went to bed just before midnight. but he stayed up until
THREE AM. i only knew this after i woke up this morning.
so i was sleepa..and then he came to bed..and we mo sleepa..and then the
PHONE RINGS AT SIX AM.
WHO THE FUCK CALLS AT FUCKING SIX AM!
goddamn!!!
i knew i couldn't wait until the 4th ring (for machine to pick up) so i
answered:
*sleepy* hello...?
hello is larry there?
mmmm..he's sleeping....
can you tell him that if he gets up early he can call me for help on the
hw?
mmmm...sure....who is this?! (i start waking up here)
hans peter.
mmmm..okay, bye.
I was pretty annoyed at that call. After the call, I couldn't sleep for
TWO HOURS. No way was I gonna be able to get up for my 9.30? Though I
had planned on going..?!
The exam was at 1.30 and it was HARD. Seventy multi-choice,
and 3 essays for 100 points. In two hours. That is freaking impossible.
My head literally hurt from it. Just one more thing to 'comment' on in
class evals. :P
But I was in good spirits, despite that, because I was going home! I
am still registered to vote in Olympia and I had to go down there, so.
I got home at 7.30 and hung out a bit then I went to Jen's work to wait
for her..and we rented a movie and went to her place. It was "The Whole
9 Yards." I guess it was okay, only one thing made me laugh really hard,
and I don't want to say it cuz maybe you'll think I'm a sick person or
something. But then now I'm making it into a bigger deal that it really
was. So I'm just gonna drop it. :P
I was home by midnight and read more of Harry Potter, since that always
puts me in a good mood.
the next day was tuesday..and of course my clock hadn't been fixed so i
woke up at what i thought was 10.30....cuz i had to do laundry, run
errands, no time for sleepa!! but it was TRES early so i did clothes,
watched talk shows and read mo.
i finally left at 1pm and went to fredmeyer but the tasty bake oven was
GONE!!! :(((((((((((((((((((( so then i went downtown (the OTHER way) and
went to walgreens and bought one of them...galileo thermometers..you
know..big glass tube, with 4 little bubbles inside filled with different
liquids with different boiling points..and they rise and fall within the
big tube and supposedly you can find out the temp that way?!?!?!? but i
got home and then a cheapo swiffer..i mainly wanted the broom thing so
then i can buy the REAL swiffer or the other brand. :P
then to target and i bought stuffsssssssssss. and then to ben franklin cuz
i wanna make this beaded necklace i saw in a guess? ad, but i was der
forever, no one was helping me, it was expensive and the colors didn't
match enuf for me!
i went home, to vote.and of COURSE i show up when school is letting out
and well..it's at a MIDDLE school, did i tell you and so there were
screaming kids everywhere. and of course i had to basically walk thru the
schoo to vote! but i did and it was pretty coo cuz this is my first time
and all and i used the little hole-punchy thing and the old ladies were
nice to me.
then i went home..more read! more food! the rents came home we had dinner
and then i waited for mom to cook foods for me to take up..i left after
7..and got there after 8.
It was a good time spent at home.
As for today...I went to my 9.30 and took notes, but he began losing me
after 1hr. I went to the lab for another two, and wrote a length email to
Ellen...then I went to class. Barely anyone showed up at all because who
expects a real lecture after an exam? And lots of ppl left at the break,
including me and Sandy. :P I HATE THAT CLASS WITH A PASSION.
BTW, sorry for all the inserts and not updating. I don't have the patience
to write and code for now. So that's why I like my
LiveJournal
so much. :)
This week has gone by really fast. Especially since it feels like I just
got off a weekend. But s'coo. I'm going out with my sister tomorrow
night and we're seeing "Billy Elliot" and having dinner. I don't have
much else going on, though I'm doing some research for my final projects
now!
