Washington State Button Society About WSBS

Our club first began in January of 1939 as a small group of button collectors under the name Washington State Button Collectors. Several meetings were held over the next couple of years under this name. Then in March 1942, this group formalized a constitution and organized as the Washington State Button Society (reference: National Button Bulletin July 1948, page 245). We are celebrating our 80th year as a formal club in 2022. We are so proud of this club and our history. We hope future collectors will continue to carry on our proud tradition.
