mmmmm..squiggly

(April 20) Idea!

Duh! So my main page was too big, that's why I didn't have a complete entry the other day. So I made a nice and handy-dandy place for you to go and check out the old entries if the spirit moves you. Haw.

I would tell you about yesterday, but I forgot what I did. *hehe* Oooooh, yah, Michelle came back at noon and I was still sleeping. *LOL* We went out for a bit but turned in early because she was tired. She was tired enough to sleep at 10pm! Wow! I have my first midterm of spring quarter coming up this Wednesday, and I have been studying. Yah! I've gotten used to not getting good marks on my exams, so I'm not expecting much this time around, but it would be nice to be surprised with a decent score. ;-)

And, I received some really *interesting* news via email. *hehe* Things could happen my friends....

Ohh..and, no more dancing baby!!! It's scary!!! *wah*

(April 20..again) Beanie doesn't know how to tell time

Okay, so I dunno what was wrong with me, but I can't tell time. I was on the computer late at night, as per, thinking, "Hey, it's only 1am, I can get five hours of sleep tonight. Yeah!" I was helping *Belle* sis open a page with Geocities, cuz their uploading is EZ. Finding a vacancy took forever! I finally found her one and talked her through the uploading process. She made a comment about the time..only she said the time was 2:30am. What? What?! WHAT?! Geez Louise! It was nearly 3am. *wah*

Even though I had only three hours of sleep and five hours of glorious instruction, today was a really GOOD day. Are ye surprised? You know I am! I hate Mondays!! I was awake in my classes, listened, took notes, and even remembered. Wow. So, maybe I should be sleeping at 3am more often? Nahhhhh. *LOL* ;-)

I'm feeling pretty good about the midterm on Wednesday too. Besides, I have a crutch...the prof drops the lowest midterm score. *hehe* Bad Beanie! I promise I'm gonna try. :-D

(April 21) Stuffs

I had yet another great day at school. And in the afternoon, I went out on The Ave and bought lotsa stuffs. Hey, I even cheated. I returned my two psych books (after reading them) by saying that I dropped the class before I needed to read the books! *LOL* Moneeeeeeeeeey!

I added another friend and check me out.

*grrrrrr* Wilson reconfigured my computer, and now it's all weird!! *whines*

A moment in history

The University of Washington now has Comedy Central! South Park! I have *never* seen this show before, and tonight will be my first time!!

(April 21) Life in 3-D

I broke my glasses this morning. Now, these were my back-up pair because my other pair, the lenses were positioned slightly off...so whenever I would wear those glasses, I would feel like I was seeing things through a fish bowl. Well, now with these broken back-up glasses, I had to go back to my old pair. It took a while to manipulate the lenses but they're a lil' better. So now I see things in 3-D. *LOL*

Is that possible? Oh, definitely! I went to look for cards today and all the cards were popping out at me!! It works particularly well with neon colors. And I also feel like I'm super duper tall too! Taw. I dunno what accounts for that feeling..could it all be about my glasses? That's what I think. Know what else I think? I need new glasses..STAT!

I had my one and only class today...and a mess of errands to attend to. I'm studying for my psychology midterm all day today. Beanie is a Good Girl! *pats herself on the back* I'll chat with y'all tomorrow. Wish me luck! *hugs*

Welcome back, Geoff, James, & Keith!! *hugs*

My UK Branch has finally come back!! Well, IndieGirl is missing, but I'm sure she'll surface soon enough. Yipee!!

(April 24) My bad...

I overslept. I missed astronomy. I haven't been in that class on Friday for a month now. I feel bad. D'awwwwww. I don't know why I overslept. Hell, I went to bed at 11 pm the night before! Astronomy doesn't start until 10:30. So I had a LOT of sleep. Oh well. I went to psychology and checked my midterm grade. It was below the median, but I was in the upper parts of the range of scores...if that makes any sense. I'm satisfied with my score. Very much so.

I bought my first pair of Doc Martens today. Woo Hoo!

Today is also my mommy's birthday! Happy Birthday, Mom!

Plans for the weekend include going to Gasworks Park. (You know..the one..it was in the movie Singles.) I'm gonna watch Canadian geese for two whole hours. Ouch! My group psychology project, though so far I am the only one doing anything for it. Bah! And then I'm going to read astronomy because I have a midterm for it Friday. The Friday that I will attend class...haw. I'm always through with my English paper. And whatever time I have left will be spent sleeping, reading, listening to music...maybe I can get a shopping trip done. Weeeee!

(April 25) Dumb Geese

Okay fine, I went to watch the stupid geeses today. I walked to Gasworks Park (20-minute walk) in my new Docs. BAD idea! My feet hurt. Owwie!! I sat and watched the dumb geeses do NOTHING for a long time. I came back to the room to find out I missed my chance to go to a Mariners game. I don't really care about that because I don't understand baseball that much. Did a lil' shopping on "the Ave" and now I'm back in my room.

I did a lot of studying today, actually. I woke up at 11am! Early! I finished my English and I'm still working on my astronomy and psychology. But, I'm ahead of schedule! WEeeeeeeee!

Well, I updated my page and I think it's pretty much done. When I find some purdy wallpapers, I will start on my other pages. :-) *whispers* I'm a stealer... *hehe*

(April 26) One Thousand Cranes

From going to real birds to those of the Origami kind. The other day I bought a packet of Origami paper. I was a real fan of this paper-folding art in my grade school years, so this brought up a whole bunch of nostalgia.

There are 112 sheets of paper in this packet (3X3) and I'm going to make 112 cranes. Haw. Well, no, I am going to make exactly one thousand cranes. And this may sound far-fetched, but I am going to pack up and mail 100 cranes to 10 of my friends.

There is a legend (more like a story) behind these one thousand cranes, and this is my way of spreading the word. The story has special meaning in itself, but it means a bit more to me because the statue is a walk outside my building. And so, who will these ten people be? I actually have about five people in mind...but that means there are still five people to be selected. And if you're interested, send me a postcard. (weeeee! my ploy to get mailllllll!) Email me and I'll send ya my dorm address, okay?

But if there is no interest, well, I dunno...I suppose I'll just gather up some addresses.

Make yer own cranes! My hands are tired! Haw. ;-)

(April 27) Excellent Progress

Weeeeeeeeeee! I went to all my classes today and had a half-decent time in them all. And! I finished the pack of Origami paper! One-hundred twelve paper cranes finished! Weeeee! At this rate, I can have 1,000 made within 30 days or so. Cool, huh.

Anyways, lessee...OOH! Plans for next year's room and board are already happening. I'm going to room with Bennetts and Chunky next year. Fun, fun, fun.

(April 29) Back to Square One

Okay...so you all know that I've been making excellent progress with my cranes. But I hit a snag. I ran out of paper. So I went back to the store, but they ran out! Argh! The lady said they would get a new shipment in...a month. No! So I went back to my room, disenchanted. I called my sister to ask her where I could find some origami paper. She suggested the U Bookstore, which is right next to the first store! Double Argh! But she said she would pick me up and drop me off. Good. I waited and waited for her. But there was this big ol' hullabullo with firetrucks, police cars, news crews, lotsa people out there. The roads were all blocked off.

So I went to the U Bookstore by walking! D'oh! But when I got there, they had the same size paper I needed. Yay! I bought them all out because it was cheaper, but they were short a few sheets ( compared to the first pack I used). I get back to my room to check out the papers. They are funky striped! NO! I spent nearly $20 on stupid striped paper! All the cranes had to match! In addition to buying the funky paper, I also bought this small cube of paper (2x2). Now this pack had 245 sheets. So, if I bought four cubes, I would be over the 1000. And I'd save money too! So then I walked back to the bookstore and returned/exchanged them. The girl didn't remember me! I was only there an hour ago! Geeeez! But I exchanged and got some money back, so I'm cool.

But that means, my first 112 cranes are "useless." I have to start back at numero uno!! Sucks...but I have motivation because, as the legend goes (the one Sadako was following) I get one wish from the gods. And I have one. A good one. And that is my motivation to hurry and complete all 1000 cranes so they may be set in flight.

Okay, well school has been going well with me. I still have that astronomy midterm on Friday. Blast! And today in the lab, I was able to look at rocks/soil from the moon (lent from NASA, no less)! They were slices, though..and placed on microscopes, so I din't get a chance to touch the moon. *shrugs* But it was very interesting!! English class is fine. I actually think my writing has improved. My psychology class is so-so. I have a group project due in a month. 'Member? The one with the stupid geese. Haw. I'm going home this weekend. It'll give me a chance to pack up somethings to take back. I have a lot of crap up here. *LOL* This will also be the first time home since I discovered that I had been using the wrong dialup on my modem. So I'll know soon whether or not I have access for the summer. Cool!

My webring is doing swimmingly!! Visit our most recent member. And if you're not a part of the ring and want to join, click here. Thanx! And if you seem to be having problems, don't hesitate to ask me, okay? :-)

***Neat-o Download for However Long!!***

I strongly urge you to go and download a MOPy Fish. It's a screensaver-type thing, with a gold fish. The fish responds to your mouseclicks and will die if you don't feed or interact with it. The longer you keep your MOPy Fish, the more things you get to keep your MOPy Fish happy, like a rock with plant, air bubbles (which make sound!!!), a thermometer, and the creme de la creme...the aphrodisiac fish food!! I have all of the above, except the aphrodisiac fish food. But in a few (weeks, maybe?) I will have enough points to feed my MOPy Fish this special food. WEeeeeeeee! It's like having a real gold fish without the hassels of cleaning and whatnot. So go download your MOPy Fish ASAP!!!

(April 30) A few quick notes before I go nappy bye

Film Thursday rocks, as ever, but I just couldn't get comfortable in the chair! D'awwwww. I went back to my room and talked for a while. Chunky called me up for a quick chit-chat and asked for The End's phone number. I gave it to him. He called back in a few minutes to tell me that he just won tickets to see Tori Amos this Sunday at the Paramount.

Get out!!! Yup, he won. He's taking Anne Marie, of course, like it'd be any other way, but I told him he had better buy me something. *LOL* WEeeeeeeeeeeee! I started on my tiny, tiny cranes again. I am once again making excellent progress. :-D But now I should study for my astronomy midterm. Bah!!

BTW, the server for the MOPy Fish doesn't work at all, my friends have said. So, if you are still interested in receiving your very own MOPy Fish, email me and I will send you the set-up for the program. But, just to let you know, it's 1.34 megs, and email accounts such as Hotmail and Yahoo probably won't accept it. But if you have alternative email addresses, such as those with your university or with your online service carrier, than it should work.

D'awwwwww....you can't seem to MOPy? Check out The Amazing Fish Cam!!. :-D

(May 1) Eureeka!!!

New Site for the MOPy Fish

Oh my gosh! I found another site for it..(*dur* it was linked off the HP site.) I tried it..and it works! Go get your MOPy fish now!!

(May 4) Dunno...

I went home for the weekend. I changed the dialup number and it worked. So, good. I have email for the summer. I ended up sleeping my whole Friday...I missed a shopping trip with my mommy!! I started watching "Merlin" because when it was on, I wasn't watching because of the computer. *LOL* My Saturday began late. I spent a lot of money. I bought two Dave Matthews Band CDs. Very niiiiiiice. I also bought some clothes. Yeah!!

My weekend went by too fast, next thing I know...I'm speeding past this woman on the freeway at 100 mph...she nearly hit me!! And then I'm in my room. Allan & Anne Marie went off to the Tori Amos concert. I wonder how it went. Michelle came back late. She usually comes at 2-ish, but it was nearly 8 when she arrived.

Monday was cool because I left the room an hour later because of the conferences. I am actually doing GOOD in my English class. Yeah!! Astronomy classes were so-so and Psychology class was pretty good. I came home, with full intent to read, but I ended up napping for 3 hours. *LOL* Oh well.

Wishing all my monkey friends good luck on their finals/midterms!!!

(May 5) My bad

I missed my one and only class today. I overslept. I must have been real tired. I woke up for DAYS and started to read afterwards...but then I fell asleep again, for three hours. Now I'm up, I've read and stuff and I'm still reading. *LOL* Guess I didn't do so bad, eh?

(May 7) Night of the Weird

Why was last night so weird? I don't know. It was just the *weirdest* night I've ever had online! On the "real-life" perspective, it was normal. Michelle and I watched tv stuffs and she indulged herself with Jerry Springer. *chuckles* Okay, I did partake in that activity too. But, whatever! We're not talking about me watching Jerry Springer. We're talking about how weird last night was!

Everyone in shapes, left "early." Quel Surprise!! The room was cleared by 1am, I believe, when this room has been known to be with people until the WEE hours of the morning. It was just nuts! And also, it was probably a weird night online because Ellen wasn't there! She was studying! Bah! *hehe* Just teasing, she's good for staying away from the compy to study. She will do good on her exam. :-)

My ICQ is crap. I think I need to redownload it. But I don't want to lose all my UINs and things like that. SomeONE gave me instructions on how to do so without losing my information. Once I'm not lazy or borderline-unconscious, I will do just that. So hopefully, when I get sucked into chats, I won't be the retarded one who can't see the other people. *chuckles*

BTW, I hate it when geocities is down. Good night!

(May 9) Jeanny Loves Her MP3's

Ah so! I finally figured out how to play MP3's. Yay!! I've had winamp downloaded for the longest time, but I couldn't figure how what it was for and how to use it. But yesterday afternoon, I had an epiphany (*winks @ Ellen*) and now I have MP3's. Yeaaaaah! Though, finding complete MP3's is another story. Bah! I had three "Hey Jude" MP3's downloaded and none were complete! And! I can't seem to find another "Wonderful Tonight" MP3 either. Nah! Oh well...searching for MP3's is muy hard because all of the pop-ups from the sponsors come up..and that just clutters my entire screen. Ha!

Anyhoo, this is me on my "break" from writing my English paper. Bah! I see that angelfire has made some modifications to their web shell. I likes! If only they made it sooner, cuz then I wouldn't have, like, three other pages on different account *mock gasp* for my uploading purposes. *hehe* Hmmmmm...well, I suppose I'll get back to mah essay.

New News for Today: (May 15) Hmmmmmm...

I suppose I should add something before I go home for the weekend. Well, so what's been going on with me? About the same stuff. Same crap, y'know. I have actually been studying and reading a lot this past week, so sometimes I don't even log on until late into the night. Which is like weird because I used to just come back from classes and log on and stay forever. But because I go on late at night, that also means I stay up late. And boy, do I stay up late. I think I've been sleeping at 3am. I'm not sure...too tired to be sure. Haw. (:-þ) (<---*winks @ Nan*)

So I would also take a 3-hour nap in the afternoon. Should I even call it a nap? It's as much sleep as I get at "normal sleep time." And one day, I actually took TWO naps. Jeanny was very tired. Still is. I have a midterm today, I kinda worked up until the deadline I guess you can say. I finished my text book reading last night at 2am. But after the reading there is still studying, which I did. And I think I have things down pretty good. So hopefully I will do good.

I bet all the people who are out of school right now are just laughing and pointing at me because I'm still in school. But I don't really care right now. Haw. I get out of school late, I have a long summer, and so I begin school late. Weeeeeeeeee!! I've been the long and arduous (is that a word? I think it is..but then again, I "thought"...*LOL*) journey of committing myself to a major. Fun stuff. Not really though.

Oooh..and know what else? For a night or so, I thought I was going to California this weekend with Chloe and her Dad. Her dad, I just realised was one of my first chat friends from over the summer. Small world, eh? Well, so yah..she said her dad was on his way to Arizona and would stop by L.A. to drop her off. Then she mentioned that they could come by HERE and get me for the trip. I just about passed out. It was all too weird because I had asked my sister the day before what our parents would think of me going down to California some time. But the next day, she said that that wouldn't work out. Because her dad would be driving and much of the weekend would be spent in transport. Which leads to...

There is going to be a meeting in August down in sunny California. The exact dates are yet to be determined..and I don't know if I can go, but if a weekend falls in during the whole time; I can go. Work impedes in soooo many things. *nudge* But I'm looking forward to it. :-D All in all, it should be something fun and memorable.

So! How's this for an update? A lot of yakkity-schmackity, innit? BTW, if you haven't gathered by now, I put my cranes on hold for the moment. I should be comfortably in the 600s by now, but I just haven't been folding them. This psych midterm has taken up a lot of my time as well as this ridiculous English paper I had due at the beginning of the week. School sucks!!
