Life as a Beanie

You wanna read mah resume? Go on ahead!

Hey there everyone. I finally decided to do something with this page. I still don't really have a bio-type page format, but here goes...

I was born June 19, 1979 in Lacey, Washington. I have a mother, a father, and a sister. My sister and I both go to the University of Washington.

My full name is Mai Ngoc Lien Jeanny, but I just have people call me Jeanny. Say like, "Genie of the lamp." And they always say it wrong! *LOL* I'm 100% Vietnamese, which means that I'm a short 5'4" (depending on my shoes *winks*) and weight? Well, you can guess and keep it to yourself, aight? I have brown eyes and long black hair which is permanently wavy after a fritz home perm. *LOL* I usually wear it up in a bun or in a pony tail, but ocassionally, I will wear my hair down. I also wear glasses. No contacts for me!! And, for a lil' shock value, I have a tongue pierce, which I got in March. *waggles* I dress on the "trendy" side, I suppose. It's mostly stuffs left over from when I worked in an office over the summer. Nice pants or skirt and a shirt, a pair of shoes, and I'm ready to go. I don't like spending a lot of time getting ready because it just takes too freakin' long!! *hehe*

Personality wise? I like to say that I'm easy to get along with. Haw. Just don't ask certain people, they'd tell you otherwise! But I do have my moments as do other people. *LOL* I have this way of looking at people which makes them uncomfortable. *chuckles* It's my gift. Just ask my friends. I like getting things my way..hey, who doesn't? I don't take much crap in life. No one should. I'm not afraid to speak my mind either. Haw. But really, I'm not the in-your-face kinda girl, I'm actually quiet and don't say much. I guess it depends on the personality I want to try for the day. *smiles*

I am constantly changing, just look at my pictures. I don't look much like I did a few months ago, and I won't look like how I do now in the months to come. I like being different.

My voice. Another thing which is entirely unique to me. Bawah. It's..um.. monotone. *whines* And I tend it drag words out to their full value. *LOL* But then on some occasions, my voice fluctuates a LOT. Just letting you know in advance in case I'm gonna ring one of you. *winks*

I chat. Too much. Just ask my peeps. They are the bestest bunch of people in the world. I've been chatting since summer and I've met some real unique characters. To say the least! *chuckles* I should like to meet them some time in the future. *winks* They know who they are. But hey, if you ever swing into Washington state, be sure to let me know. *nudge* I'll do my best to conduct a tour of the Evergreen State.

I like doing other things, too, of course. I like music. Mostly that "alternative" stuff. It's GOOD! Television is always fun. But I always prefer doing something outside, especially now since the weather is so nice. Weeeeee!

Projected plans for the millennium? I'd like to graduate with a business major (department not specified yet) as well as a French minor. Oui, oui! This summer I will most likely be working *blah* and attending summer school. Working is nice because I get money..but it's WORK! *LOL* I don't mind summer school because I'd like to polish my francais as well as take some courses going towards my major. See? I have some direction. *chuckles* Some.

Interesting stuffs about moi? *chuckles* I have a talent for peeling oranges in one big ol' peel thingie. I've seen Speed over 30 times. But I've only seen Titanic three times. I listened to Oasis once for six months straight, but now I can't really listen to 'em. I specialize in knowing all the "Paul is Dead" Beatle clues. *tehe* I've memorized William Shakespeare's Sonnet 97 and can rattle it off at any given time. I hold grudges. The longest grudge I've been holding (it's still going strong) has been eight years. Don't ask me what happened, though. I used to sew tiny buttons onto the tops of my socks so that my sister, my dad, and my mom wouldn't steal them. *LOL* Yes, this family wears white socks! My "trademark" scents would have to be pear, peach, and almond creme. I thank Victoria's Secret and Gardon Botanika for this! *smiles*

I *love* MP3's. I just started, so my collection is small, but if you'd like some sent to you over ICQ..just give me a buzz at 4760684. Ethernet is a glorious thing! Hee Hee!

Otay! Enough about me...
